Rejecting yourself for a giant within - beauty and love or whatever - it's still just ego. There's nothing wrong with ego! - but it is ego... You are you, regardless of the story unfolding in front of you. This guy is "successful" because he is like this spiritual mega-ego, preaching his gospel to other spiritual ego's. Notice how he closes his eyes at 3:44. I rest my case.
