Not all news articles are created equal. And context isn't always a one-way street either. In this video, before elaborating on my own journey in coming to the conclusion that an earlier statement about Butch Davis' role with the 1994 Cowboys was actually wrong, I attempt to demonstrate just how many layers there can be to sift through when reading an otherwise seemingly innocent sports article. Along the way, I take you back to the 1990s in Dallas, when the Morning News and the Fort Worth Star Telegram were duking it out for sports news supremacy in the middle of an all-time feud between Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson.

@@RyansCowboysCorner thanks pal. Keep up the work, I've been enjoying for a few years now. You bring up a gazillion memories for me when you put up those old games from the 80's on up. My first recollection of dallas football goes back to the NFC title game loss to Philly, then to sf, then to wash. I'm born and bred in New Jersey, however from 81-83 I attended converse elementary school in Bexar County Texas. Became a dallas fan, then met my father when I(my mother obviously was doing the moving) moved back to NJ only to find out that he also was a dallas fan while everyone else loved the giants and I the mid to late 80's,very difficult to live amongst these people. 😂 anyhow,take care of yourself and keep doing the do.
