I always dug this track as far as the production at the time, when this dropped many moons ago, that instrumental is killer but once Ace got ears of this joint, Boogienan got John Wicked, Ace left him in a closed casket and I never heard from him anymore
I may have this vinyl, I’m that old, I have to check another time, but I always gave Boogienan credit to even go at Ace, this track is dope af, solid bars, but damn Ace didn’t play with him at all, just scathing
I randomly stumbled upon my Fair Lady when the originally sampled song came up on (I never knew that's where it is from) suddenly had a flash back to when I was 14.... this album....🤯🤯 and this beat! So dooopppe! Those were the days. When hip hop was hip hop and not this auto tuned, algorithm, mumble rap. I feel like a need a porch and a rocking chair to be like "back in my days we had to wait for an album to drop!" lol
The beat is fire and Boogieman definitely took more shots at Masta Ace but Acknowledge sends chills down the spine, even made you wait to hear his dis toward Boogieman on the record, Ace is a better on so many levels, Boogieman can't Spit so he obviously must swallow
