- Dr Feelgood (with Wilco Johnson) burst onto the British rock scene in 1975 with incendiary live performances and Wilco's manic guitar style, bringing about a sea-change (pre-Pistols) to remove fatuous triple-album Spinal Tap-era bands and replace pretentious bloated rock with raw back-to-basics hi-energy music. Dr Feelgood's only hit single from 1979 featured Wlico Johnson replacement Gypie Mayo on guitar and a typically snarling Lee Brilleaux vocal. RIP Wilco Johnson, Lee Brilleaux and Gypie Mayo.

Best line up with Gypie Mayo on guitar
No way. There’s only one guitarist for Feelgood and that’s Wilko
Erm, there's no Wilco in this line up.
Preferred Wilko.
