That makes a lot of sense. Thank you. Because a lot of times I think that we be looking at God as a God that wouldn’t be responsible for bringing His children into bondage. However, this passage says that is exactly what He has done. But in our times of being around the enemy is actually God’s merciful hand of refuge and safety. Therefore, we can still move around through living to our fullest all under the guise of our chains and hardship. God bless.

Amen. I was up the other night asking God what I needed to read. I looked at one of my journals and Jeremiah 29:11 was on the cover. God told me to read the whole chapter. I’d never read the whole chapter. I must say that the verse means so much more when reading the full context!!! Ty for expounding on the word. Hallelujah to our great God!!!!

My Bible in Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you says the Lord thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end."

I call this: “ READING OTHER PEOPLES MAIL!” God wasn’t talking to US in this text. It’s towards the Jews who where put in a predicament, and they were to trust in the God of Israel!
