That's a rough group (Men 26 years old) and the Citizen Winner in 30:02 was in your age (26). You ran 33:27 and finished 5th in your age (26)! Tough crowd! Way to go Spencer!
Great job, Spencer. Running 33:28 at altitude and weaving through the crowd is a really good time. You can run sub-31:00 with more training and on a flat course. I think you have hit on a really good niche with the direction of your channel. Running road races and taking on all contenders will be something so many people can identify with and with your personality and Allie at your side I think your channel will continue to grow.
@@PatNeedhamUSA if I’m not mistaken, that 60k number was from a few years when the PRR DID host the largest 10k race to date bringing in that 60k number. 2020 among other limiting factors have caused that number to creep closer towards that 37k in recent times, but it’s still attended by many, many people, including myself, every year.
I love your videos so much! I found you through your girlfriend Allie and I haven’t been able to stop watching either of you since! I run XC and you guys are huge inspirations for me going into this summer training season. Keep up the good work and I’ll be sure to watch Allie in her Olympic trials race!
Awesome! Thats so frustrating with the bib - you handled it better than I would have so thanks for showing that. So impressed with that kick! You obviously could have gotten a better time, but the fact that you focused on the experience and kept a good attitude is what I admire.
NY Marathon allegedly has 61,480 participants and Chicago has 57,640. Not sure which numbers are correct but the fact that Bolder Boulder gets that many people out to Boulder is insanely impressive… the whole population of Boulder is ~106,000 haha
Ok, 5th. Also, no spoilers, my prediction for 10k is 33:50. Edit: 33:28 for 10k is really good! That's 16:44 5k pace, which is not much slower than the 5k pace you ran at the last 5k race so I'm excited to see what you can do after around a year or so of good training. Maybe sub 32 10k? It's possible. Keep up the amazing work Spence!
@@DoveLoverrrrrrxd I meant maybe in the next race or two. He'll eventually get sub 30 for 10k at all, but for the next race maybe sub 32 will be more realistic.
This is a great race 👍🏻 I run there many years ago , yes u need be in high altitude before this race so u can get some good result! But u did well💪💪 nice work mate!
Yo Spence, you should come to Sydney Australia and run the City to Surf. Over 75,000 people do that and it’s an amazing experience. I’ve done it a few times and it was great - quite competitive too if you want to push yourself.
According to actual data only 35% wake up before or by 6 am so I would not classify that as most adults, most adults wake up by 8 according to real studies not made up statistics by someone on the internet meant to put someone down over something so ridiculous
Dude you passed me at the very end 😭, that was me in the white hat and we spoke and got a picture after. Super fun race. Love your videos!

I'm liking the vibe on the past couple of videos and love seeing u get back in shape, keep up the good work!!
I thought the biggest was the Atlanta peachtree road race
ya, 60K people. It was 53K when I ran it in 2000.
The wiki page for that race says it's limited to 60,000 spots, but when viewing the official results page it says "37,322 entries in race"?

I believe Bolder Boulder was at its peak 50k (which probably earned it the “biggest” label at the time), but it’s now more like 40k
It probably is, but this guy is always lying so you have to take what he says with a grain of salt

Atlanta Peachtree Road Race claims 70k, so who actually knows.
I enjoy these race videos you've been doing lately a lot more. Great content, Spencer! Keep up the grind, and good luck to you!
I loved this video! Appears to have been a very positive, enjoyable experience. Great job!
I SWEAR YOU ARE MY FAVORITE RUclipsR!!! And so underrated!!
Joint with Allie ofc
Him and Allie both! I don’t get it! They are both phenomenal!!

33:28 at altitude on a course with serious climbs has him in some solid shape
Sub 30 you mean haha

Great race...love the content! You're gaining fitness FAST!
This was amazing, the comeback is real!!
Pull ups were mad too, wasn't expecting runners to be so strong 💪
This is a great race 👍🏻 I run there many years ago , yes u need be in high altitude before this race so u can get some good result! But u did well💪💪 nice work mate!
Yay that was fun to wstch ! CONGRATS great pace! and loved the pullup competition at the end!
Great video. 14 pull-ups after racing is solid.
Well done! Racing at altitude is never easy especially when you are coming from sea level and you're not used to it.
Your pacing was fantastic!!
Great race !!
Very impressive
GO SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEENCE! that gear shift at the end was pretty dope ngl😎
I wonder how many noticed the over 65 US age group champion?😂
Great video , and great to see you back in Boulder. Good luck SB, LL, and AS.
That's an excellent clocking at that elevation. Good job Spence !!
Great job!!! And impressive pull-ups for both of you!
Nice run! Loving the content💯
Fun runs a great. And that’s a great time. You’re getting in good shape 🙌
I live in Boulder, but I'd forgotten about the race, and since I was at home all day I didn't even notice 50,000 runners in town. Pretty funny.
5:35 im the kid in the pink 😂
Great video and good to knwo I can beat Spencer at 1:25 haha! I am sure it will be corrected though!!!
Did you stay for the pro race and the flyover though? So fun.
you should do the peachtree road race in atlanta on fourth of july
Awesome job, Spencer. Next year you should be the one in the banana costume!
Nice! Allies pull ups were amazing
3:12 is that Daniel LaBelle in the background?
looks like it, not sure tho
Nah that's my friend Brian Folts. They do look similar though
I saw myself for like 2 seconds! Yay!! 😊
7:19 what app is that?

I was hoping you’d do it! Yay!
Peachtree in Atlanta is the biggest 10K
you should run wharf to wharf in california this summer
61st out of 50 thousand. Great! 😊
BOOM! Best decision to go longer and funner. Speed translates
How do they “lose” a bib. I would have been seriously pissed off. Great run though!
Great video!
Crying and throwing up because this is the first year in several years that I haven’t ran Boulder Boulder 😫
Very good time, there's definitely potential.
Letsss gooo!! 🐐
Hilly course at altitude this is a great time. There is no Seattle 5k runner that can defeat you.
2:30 No way drinking a gatorade and eating a cliff bar took you 30 minutes
It almost took him longer than running the 10k lol
I was there lets go!!! I finished with 53:47
Spence actually got 33:27
Great run.
How much does John pace weight?
200 lb brother
The legend himself. 35:40 for your weight is insane. Thanks for the reply!
Local legend knows no fear
Wow 1:25:14! Really great!
Sick time bro. Why did they have you passing slower runners after 1M? Seems less than ideal having to weave through all that.
Great job
I thought the biggest road race was Bay to Breakers .
LETTTTTSSSS GOOOOOO!!!!
nice job!
Shoutouts to the guy at 7:18
wait Allie Ostrander she is my favorite
First by accident
That’s what your mum said when you were born
angejo real comedian
do the biggest fun run in America
They probably messed up and gave your original bib to someone else. Sorry you got shafted like that you would’ve finished top 30
sushi (or a reasonable facsimile) with a fork?
Allie Ostrander is very nice looking
Did someone just insult you by guessing that you would run it in 35 minutes??? My guess would have been around 32-33 minutes...
I would be confident I could get in the top 26k in this race. Sorry for bragging.
I said not in top 20 but in top 50
Gyatt
Uhhhh.....who ever was in charge of registration....SUCKS!!!
At 6.25 - huge booger left nostril!
I noticed that too 😂
First
Next time leave your sister at home
