It sometimes brings a tear to my eye when I watch your videos. Seeing all the things I’ve missed out on. Not really sad tears but a touch of regret . But also inspiration to get out there and do more. Thanks again for sharing!
I did the Bolder Boulder back in 1990 when I was a graduate student at UNC (Northern Colorado). Even back then I think they had 30,000 runners in the race.
So much love Ryan, it made my evening watching you and Amelia - it's been 20 years since I last ran, might just need to get the running shoes back on and get in some form of shape to come run with #teamduzer next year!
I think I hi-fived you just past the mile 2 marker, I was one of the volunteers! It was a beautiful Boulder day with some beautiful Boulder weather, can't beat that positive energy!
Great video! Went to college in Boulder ('88) and now live in Golden. Our friend Duey (Dwight Burditt Channel) in Mazatlan, just turned us on to you a week ago and we watched your bikecamping ride from Mazatlan to Aguascalientes which we thoroughly enjoyed. We live, run and bike near South Table Mountain and your videos really inspire us! Thank you!
You are the most awesome human being. I am so grateful for having found your channel. You have inspired me at 59 to get off my couch and on to a 600x to ride off almost 100 lbs so I can go into my 60s in a healthy way. Thank you Ryan for all that you do to inspire the world.
Beautiful festive short run with beautiful people , thank u for all the great videos , you're a great sport videographer , technicaly and as a human being , cudos man ! 👍👍💛
Thanks! I grew up running the Bolder Boulder too. My first race might have been around the same year as yours, but I was a bit older. I’m 56 now and am still enjoying the miles, especially the ones I get to share with friends and colleagues. Your enthusiasm for the community is outstanding.
The race looks awesome and your energy is off the roof (as always) - Love it! I did the Denver half marathon this year, definitely doing this fun race next year. Hope to meet you!
You inspired me to run the BB10K this year for my first 10K in 10 years... and it was a freaking blast! It's like a 60,000-person moving block party that just happens to be running. I didn't see you along the way to let you know, but you are a huge inspiration my dude. From one Ryan to another. In the meantime I'm gonna Get Out There.
Au contraire; I lifted weights at 5 am today and I'm hiking Mount Sanitas this afternoon. Never before in my life have I run a race, and been functional the next day. It feels great!

Good God that is over the top, I luv it! Now I'm smiling from ear to ear. Imagine parents today, letting their 6 year olds run a race by themselves sans helicopter, and yet that race is likely safer than ever for such freedom...
I hear you!! We seem to live in a culture of fear these days...back then, us kids had a lot more freedom, and our parents trusted the community to help out if need be. Thanks for watching!
