I took some of your tips and started using them today. I've changed the language of my phone and my car. It's going to take some getting used to seeing notifications and such in French on my phone. I also found a podcast in French on Spotify that I intend to listen to at least an hour a day...maybe more if I'm all caught up with my RUclips subscriptions. I figured I'd do a subject that interests me so I'm listening to tales of the supernatural read by a lovely French lady. Thanks for the hacks!

In my experience, Lingopie subtitles usually don't match the French spoken in the show/movie.
I suppose you can decide for yourself whether that's conducive to language learning or not.

J'ai décidé que les apprenants anglophones comprennent mieux les concepts que j'enseigne quand elles sont en anglais. Ils peuvent utiliser d'autres vidéos pour la pratique de la compréhension orale :). Voilà c'est mon raisonnement.
