sega gave zebrahead the lyrics, and the instrumental. then ZH made some changes and they recorded the sega version. after that ZH decided to make their own version of the song, with new instrumental and some lyrics changes

It's one of the many versions of "His World", and the original was made by the same band (Zebrahead), so, in a way it is related to Sonic.

@Kazil6598 Actually, this is Zebrahead covering a Tomoya Ohtani track.
His World was composed by Tomoya Ohtani, a talented musician from Sega's Wave Master team. Zebrahead just wrote the lyrics and provided the vocals. The lyrics for the chorus weren't even written by them, but by Johnny Gioeli of Crush 40.
Anyway, Zebrahead rocks, but credit where credit is due: they did the singing and the lyrics (except for the chorus), but they did NOT write the music.

Those would be the instrumentals, 1 was only on a CD, A lost instrumental and solaris. The two mixes and original his world are the only vocals.

Sure this song was made for Sonic. It was composed for Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) by Tomoya Ohtani. Matty and Ali fron Zebrahead just did the vocals and wrote some of the lyrics. Btw Sonic isn't crap.

1) Zebrahead Original version for Sonic videogame soundtrack
2) Crush 40 version for video game
3) Zebrahead Second version for their fan since this one fits more with their style
