I’d suggest getting a clarifying shampoo and giving the extensions a good wash. In my experience box dyes like that will fade really quickly with a few good shampoos, and because they started out blonde the fading should give you a colour much closer to what you actually wanted
The extention color is PERFECT, it’s a natural redhair color, i think U would look amazing with this darker shade of red.
I was confused when she said that they’re now brown when the color is really just natural redhead.
@@celines8247 My exact thoughts lol
I think the darker extensions look really cool! You could give them a good wash so the color fades a bit and maybe you'll like it more? But I definitely think it looks really pretty on you
There are already so many tips, but here is mine: the colour you see on the front of the box dye is always done on white hair. So colouring a dirty blond will give you way different results than what is on the package of the box dye. Your "blond" hair extensions are not a level 10 blond, they are a 7 at best, so you gotta factor that in. Also, the only way to get bright red is to start with a bright base, and the only way to get there is to bleach.
Hiiiii pla help, i have light blondw copper hair dyes i bought to dye extensions. But idk what shade of extensions i should buy, theres ash blonde, gold blonde, platinum blonde and “lightesr blonde” which looka darker than platinum for some reason lol.. any advice on which ones i should buy? Tyy
I bought a cheap Asian dye once was a colour something like this a natural copper I think but it came out super bright. I loved it if only I could find it again unfortunately I just bought this one
I had the same issue with that dye, i used the superdrug copper and it worked a treat!
As soon as I saw the casting creme gloss in the thumbnail I knew this wasn’t going to go well 😂 bless you for trying so hard.
a couple years ago I dyed my extensions in a dark red. It worked really well and was happy with the result.
You know, i actually think despite them coming out darker they look amazing. They add a lot of dimension to your hair color and it is a warmer red-brown so it blends pretty well, it does ljust look like youve got layered highlights
red suits you so well!!
The color on the box always turns out so different, but to be honest the box you had looked much redder than your hair anyway. Try washing the extensions to see if any color comes out
wow even without the extensions your hair is looking really thick and beautiful at the moment!
yes please record what you do with them next!!
The extensions are pre-processed, it’s not the dye’s fault! If the blonde was processed to prevent brassiness then you’re never gonna get red dye to stick. Start with warm colored extensions that already have some red in them (like chestnut color) and it will hold the red dye. Also be sure to wash the extensions first with clarifying shampoo to wash off any factory coating first. Hope that helps!
Try Overtone brand! Its not damaging at all, it's a really (really really) strong colored conditioner. I suggest you the ginger colored one.
You're not supposed to wash the hair with shampoo after :O Just use the conditionner and that's it! I promise it will be clean after. I've box dyed my hair red for 10 years and from all the brands I've tried, the best is definitely Garnier so I think the Olia you picked would have looked great!
You look so pretty with red head, I can't get over it
Isabella I'm so happy your nails are getting nice and long
I stopped using boxed hair dye ages ago. I go to a stored called Sally's Beauty Supply here in the US. I don't know if they have them in the UK and I buy my color and 20 Volume developer because I have gray hair I want to cover. Otherwise if just depositing color 10 is fine.
There is no telling what volume developer you get in box dyes.
The extensions at the end look way better and like a balayage look
You should also try tinted shampoo for your hair (and the extensions) I have red/burgundy hair and I use a red-tinted hair mask-let me tell you-its AMAZING! Also of course we wanna see more of you and the hair journey! Love you:)
Take the extension to the hair dresser next time you go and they can dye them the same colour as your hair
i was trying to save money haha
Use olive oil to take off the dye it works but it will not remove it completely ( I’ve tried it btw) hope it helps !!!
If it were me, I’d probably dye it with semi permanent dye, however it can make it harder to get the right shade. And that color will fade as your hair fades too, but that’s just what I would do lol
I thought the same thing, as it would still show up if it’s a bright semi permanent die
Haha!the park where you were singing men at work … 😂😂
still looks good
If you try the colour B4/B4 colour, you should probably get a mask, because the scent will make the Stacey Dooley dye smell like roses.
In the past I have dyed my own hair at home a lot. If you ever try again please go to a store where they sell professional hair dye. It's quite easy to prepare the dye and you can check the colors in the sample book. The colors usually are way closer to real life and the people working there have a better understanding how hair and dye works
You can strip the hair of the dye by indeed using a haircolor remover. The best one I ever used is by the brand Revolution Pro. But you might want to try head & shoulders anti dandruff shampoo a few times before. It can strip some of the color and is probably way cheaper and faster than going through the progress of stripping the hair completely.
Isabella, You are such a pretty red head!!! Please make more videos we miss seeing you!!
im inlove with your eyes😣
Whaaat I was looking at that red heart chain like 3 weeks ago😄😄😄what a coincidence
Yo amaba esa marca de tinte , era el mejor y ya tiene un tiempo que lo dejaron de vender aquí en México 😩😩😭😭
This isn't about hair, but you should 100% try Anna Mcnulty's routines for getting your splits. I started stretching September 1st 2020 and went fully down into the splits mid December. (I started at the same flexibility level. I also only stretched about 2-3 times a week in order to let my muscles relax. When I stretched too often, they tightened up and made it worse.) By mid January, I had a serious oversplit. As of right now, I haven't really stretched in about a year (Sure like once a month, but really nothing) and I still have my full right split. (It does hurt a little now when it didn't used to though.) Hope this helps!!
Use a clarifying shampoo two or three times. Then use a color depositing bright red shampoo/conditioner. Boom :)
I'm not sure if it's the same Casting Crème Gloss I have used, but it was supposed to be applied on wet hair. Maybe that's the problem? Anyway, the color still looks very good!
Vitamin c powder and anti dandruff shampoo or clarifying shampoo
How long do your extensions measure (from clip to end)?
Based on my own personal experience, colour removers such as colour oops or colour out, do work quite well, however everytime the hair gets wet for the foreseeable future will smell like sulfur fart!
I'm telling you from experience 😭
The Loreal one that u used is semi permanent, so it washes out with sulfates
I wouldn't say the extensions went brown, they went a dark shade of auburn. they defo have more of a red tint than just pure brown would. What I learned from my hairdresser is that hair dye is a science especially when it comes to lighter colors. You wont get the same turn out with each color depending on what kind of hair you use it on. if your extensions have been dyed before they wont react the same as natural hair and wont take the color as much.
❤️
Did you use the same box dye that you used for you hair because it won’t be the same shade at all.
lets get this color right
That 'will it blend' reference unlocked so many memories.... why did i spend hours as a kid watching a guy blend stuff?
Hi Isabella! If you’re interested maybe look up tons of video’s on youtube talking about the sorts of hairdye (semi, demi, permanent) and also the color coding! Casting creme gloss 645 (which i thought was semi?) starts with a 6 which is a darker level than your own hair, that’s why they turned out so dark. 4 is usually a red undertone, 5 i’m not sure (eggplant color?). 3 is usually copper so you should probably look voor a dye that is lighter (8 i guess) and has red 4 but moreso copper 3 undertones. After years of trial and error and just looking at pictures, I learned this: never trust the picture on the package. Learn about the sort dye and the color coding, and the color wheel (what’s your starting point). Then you’ll be able to somewhat calculate your outcome and isn’t it so much a gamble or surprise.
I recognize so much of myself in you, and I wished i would’ve learned about this al sooner!
Would love to see the process of color removing! Also did that to my own hair using drugstore own brand. But there is also a schwarzkopf one!
You could maybe bring them with you to the salon next time for a colour match
Hahaha as an Australian the random Vegemite sandwich part cracked me up 😂
I would try removing the dark color as much as possible then mixing the orange olia color with a medium blonde
I hope that you can eventually get the extensions to your dyed hair, because the colour that your hair is now makes you look like a Meygan doll, and it makes your eyes pop.
Box color will get you that but you do have to bleach it something that the instructions omit
I've never had any experience with Olia hair dye, but a woman once stopped me in the queue of Boots to plead with me to not buy it as it really dried her hair out, and she was struggling to get it back to a healthier condition. So do with that info what you will haha
In the beginning when I dyed my hair with Lois it was dry, but I think it was their own conditioner that came with it. I just use my regular colour conditioner and it felt ten times better. But any hair dye is gonna dry your hair out whether or not is says it doesn’t.
I like to see your long red nail please make a video many of your fans waiting how you do long natural paint nails painted
Not really related to hair, but if you've read The Mortal Instruments, Isabella looks exactly how I would imagine Clary Fray!
You could’ve just mixed the dye in the bowl itself! Why were you mixing it in the bottle and then pouring into a bowl😪
Ouch. I'm surprised you gave Casting Gloss a second chance after last time's fail! They are a terrible brand, they never turn out the way they're supposed to from the box. I used to dye my hair a lovely shade of auburn (the same you kinda have now on your hair, maybe a tad less bright) and it was achieved with Clairol's Nice n Easy in 8WR (Golden Auburn).
The color is not that vibrant because those extensions we're damn dirty blonde. Ofc it won't turn out like her hair are right now, jeez.
I actually really liked how it turned out though even though she thought it was a fail.
Try 7.32 instead
wheres your top from its gorg x
i got it in a charity shop x
One box was never going to be enough for that much hair. Also you could have done a test strand :) for next time
Rusk do an amazing colour removal too - although it smells like eggs...
Yeah that amber loreal one is unbelievably crap!!! Luckily I test stripped it, (I never test strip but felt like I should this time) luckily didn’t do my whole head 😢
Hii
I think you have to bleach the hair to a lighter tone and then dye the hair inorder to get the exact colour shown on the box.
i would take the extensions to a professional!!!
Doesn’t this color match your natural hair color for when your current color fades?
i said at the beginning that they've never matched my hair.
Glynt has a copper shampoo, put it on extensions: boom ginger.
Do another braces update! 🙏🙏🙏
Mix a small amount of dye and only test a small peice !
That's a shame it didn't work out. I think you should watch Brad Mondo and how he bleaches hair, I think it will help. Bleach them and then recolour, first ask your hairdresser what colour she used to get a better match.
Brad ruined 2 other youtubers their hair by overbleaching and poor technique. He even deleted the video afterwards. It was on Snitchery where he really messed up and fried her hair and the technique making sections on Charli D'Amelio were really messy.
@@HangingDown I can't comment on that as I haven't seen it. I have seen him dye wigs and he bleached someone's hair a few days ago and it looked stunning. You do realise I am suggesting to Isabella to bleach her extensions and not her hair?
B4 smells so bad but works so good !
please dye your hair a darker ginger!! itd suit you so much
Can u plz give me some hair extensions
Colour b4 smells like rotten eggs and the smell returns when you sweat so it's unpleasant!
Dude!! That must have been HEARTBREAKING! Spending so much time in dying it and then it doesn't turn out well..I would have cried
Hi I suggest watching Audrey Victoria. She gives hair tips I have never heard of and tells the rights and the wrongs of hair care.
pleas do not do box dyings use professional hair color dying
Just dye your hair darker 🤫😂
Don’t use box dye. Have you never watched a Brad mondo video?
they look synthetic. it's not gonna dye like real hair
its real hair.
You have to use professional hair color not boxdye😂
