- Returned to Esnes Quarry, this time with Wayne and Warren, to see what we could catch there this time, and take in the Serene surroundings of the Big "Pit" lake. Had a great session with good company and had a fish out. Learnt to Spod and use distance sticks too ready for Brasenose 2 on the Linear Complex in a Couple of weeks.

The spod reel is sound m8 i use the same problem i found was with the braid that comes on the reel it wasnt the best always knotting up and snapping. Changed the braid and havent had any problems since. Hope this helps

@@tommycarping yeh i moved to using korda basic braid no need for shock leader then unless casting at a ridiculous range. Done a good few nights over enses now is a tricky place but can be explosive if you fine the right spots.
@Lukeskywalker976 I put the whole pack of shock leader on lol. Have been soaking the braid ever since and touch wood its been alright
