The fabric is so cooool!! But hear me out: maximise your fabric by putting it as accents on other garments. Like red overall and fun fabric pocketses. Or a panelled skirt half plain black, half badger mushroom bug glory!
Katie, you outdid yourself! And that fabric is everything! If Hurricane Milton doesn't flatten St. Petersburg, I'm going to try to track that down here after we're safely on the other side of this!
Oh friend, my heart is with you over the next few days. I have family further inland and I'm a bundle of nerves for the next few days. Please be careful!!
Good morning from up north Michigan. Middle of the state, tiny town. It is a little after 5:00 AM and I can’t sleep. You came up to greet me. And thought I would give you a chance…. lol I am pretty picky about whom I watch…. So. I love how excited you were and how you explained everything and your thought process….kinda like sitting with a friend. Am 71 and 3/4’s. Dealing with depression and melancholy and arthritis with limited mobility. Yea I know a hot mess….. anyway…I find you knowledgeable, intriguing and entertaining very interesting funny and fun, looking forward to watching everything you posted. I subscribed to your channel can’t wait to get to know you better. Nice to see a real person doing things that they enjoy and learning along the way. Thanks for all your time and effort and now I guess I’ll go binge all the rest of your RUclips channel Thank you so much you made me smile and laugh and even giggle. A delight and entertaining thanks again. Oh yea. Cute overalls. Great job!!!
That print is also available from Joanns in a non pill fleece -- just in case you want a hoodie to go with those amazing overalls. Love your can do attitude..
Overalls!, I have 8 pairs, some true "Men's" working overalls, some jeans, some fun printed linen. I can't get enough of them. Yours turned out great! The best pattern I have found is one based off a vintage pattern from the 1940's Simplicity S8447.
The fabric is amazing 🤩 the drawings are so vibrant and elegant! I would add a few shiny beads on the little drawn "sparkles". Not on all the garment, of course, maybe just on the front... or in a next project. 😊
I got that same fabric in a flannel and made some very comfy pants. Could be dressy based on the cut, could be PJs because they’re flannel. I wish they had some left in a the heavier fabric when I went!
yesssssssss you made them yesssssss i'm so excited for you, they turned out great! :D totally understand the fear of mucking up when the fabric supply is limited - I've been going through a similar thing with a couple of dresses :s one is at mockup stage so i have no excuse but the other is on pause while i find a pattern that'll help me not muck it up...at some point...
Im green with envy right now that material is perfect. I would need a bolt of that😉☺️! Your bibs came out absolutely wonderful you look so good in them. Thats a badger by the way lol.
A beautiful job! Am sitting here watching wearing my ex Dutch army overalls (army green, button down front, collar, full length sleeves, epaulettes) & imagining what they would look like in that fabric 😊 Your forest fabric seems very British to me, red squirrels, fly agarics, ink caps & badgers, I love it! Who made that fabric?
Yay! They came out so cute! I see I'm not the only one who likes their pants looooong 😁 So now the big question is... what's the plan for the remaining yardage??
Do they not have badgers in America? (Edit: never mind I read the comments. Also I wish we still had red squirrels in England still, the American grey squirrels are more aggressive and almost killed them all, so sad they only exist in the Highlands now….🥺) Love your (what I’ve now dubbed) “British Dungarees” Dungarees being what you call overalls. 🇬🇧❤🇺🇸
Sooo...I really had NO idea how British they were until I started reading the comments about the badger (I definitely should've recognized that it wasn't a skunk). Then my husband asked if it was a red squirrel. I will proudly wear my British Dungarees!! Love the name!
Very cool 😀

ok no when you said it was the coolest fabric I WAS NOT READY IT'S SO GOOD
These?! I need these. *Immediately runs to stash and contemplates painting fabric to make some on this level*
It's SO GOOD!! but with Joann's going out of business it will probably never exist again 😩😩
Great job! Hands down the cutest damned overalls I’ve ever seen!😊
Thank you!! They are THE BEST thing I've made!!!!
My daughter-in-law would love these, they are so cute. ❤

The overalls came out just as delightful as you imagined! What a wonderfully fun project, love them!
Thank you so much!
I love the fabric, I want 10 meters! And I want those overalls too.
My next issue is how to use the remaining yardage. Great problem to have, for sure!
@@KatieMakesStuff indeed it is. I hope you find something befitting the fabric.
love them!

Oh my gosh, there are badgers (not skunks) on that fabric! I love badgers!!!
You look fantastic in your amazing woodsy overalls!
I got that same fabric in a flannel and made some very comfy pants. Could be dressy based on the cut, could be PJs because they’re flannel. I wish they had some left in a the heavier fabric when I went!
Everything amazing...love the fabric, the fancy rivets, love it overalls...get it overalls....😂🫣😊❤
Katie, you never fail to give me the giggles.
Please tell me it's because I don't know the difference between skunks and badgers 😂🤦
Very Nice ;) Good Job
You're so right...they are awesome & amazing!! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm!
Thanks for watching!

In the UK, Jelly Fabrics has a similar terry loop fabric. Mushrooms and toadstools only.
I LOVE yhr double fabric pockets. Way to go, Katie.
THANK YOU!!!
You made them! They are every bit as fabulous as i imagined they would be xx
They are so so fun! And the cotton canvas is the perfect weight for them.
Im green with envy right now that material is perfect. I would need a bolt of that😉☺️! Your bibs came out absolutely wonderful you look so good in them. Thats a badger by the way lol.
Gorgeous!
Thank you so much!
That fabric is amazing 😍
It's so much better than I expected! I have zero regrets buying so much of it!
Those tuened out so freakin good! I would totally wear them!
I don't ever want to take them off!

THOSE ARE AWESOME!❤
I completely agree!! I love them so much!
Do you sell the pattern for these?

Who's gonna tell her that's a badger, not a skunk? 🤣
I think I just did.. respectfully 😊
You tell her, not me!
Only reason I came to the comment section…..
@@thebatridesagain teehee x
I think we should just leave her blissfully unaware 😂
These look so freakin' fabulous! (That is a badger, not a skunk, however.☺️)
That dang badger is going to haunt me forever! I should've seen it but I was too excited to get sewing 🤦🤣
Not exactly the same but Spoonflower carries very similar feeling fabrics.
(badger! sorry it doesn’t start with s)
still awesome fabric.
I almost wish it was a badger because they are badass little dudes!
@@KatieMakesStuffwell you're in luck! That is 100% a European Badger. They are a much cuter, more mellow, critter; than our American Badgers.
Love the fabric, but, just a kind 'fyi' that's not a skunk, but a Badger. I know because that my last name. LOL🤍🖤🤍
