Born in 1987 and feel incredibly lucky to have have my childhood throughout the 90s, growing up during a time when Nickelodeon aired quality programming. I sure wish the clock could be turned back so the decade could be re-lived.
Ah the '90s. When Nickelodeon at least had a fragment of respect for the intelligence of their audience. Incidentally, I was eight years old in 1995, and remember all of these commercials.
6:12 I saw Kraft Macoroni and Chesse commercial with Looney Tunes characters shapes, i knew it. when I was almost 9 in 1995 and I'm watching Power Rangers within commercial. What a memory.
I remember that Keebler commercial like it was yesterday...I was 11 in 1995 btw. Man, Yoshi's Island came out that year. So did Mortal Kombat 3, and Playstation 1...
Do not forget things like the Big Help, the stars telling kids to do small, kind acts, having adventures in storytelling (Are You Afraid of the Dark), sci-fi fantasy (Space Cases (Trekkie older sister LOVED THAT), Alex Mack, The Tomorrow People) that had friendship, cooperation, etc: shows like GUTS and Legends of the Hidden Temple that featured smart AND fit kids!
That's pretty disturbing. Values like friendship and loyalty are more important than getting rich or dying trying. Even Nick's more mindless shows of the past (like Ren & Stimpy or Rocko's Modern Life) were better paragons of good values (as well as actually being funny) than crap like iCarly, Victorious, or (puke) Fred the Show.
"Hey, you want to see Disney Land, Alex?" -Yeah! ................ 1 hour later.............. - Um, Jimmy, having 8 viewfinders of Disney Land is not going TO Disney Land. I'm going home, and this is sad, Jimmy.
4:56... My absolute favorite childhood cereal. Had a delicious, milk chocolate flavor(and turned your milk chocolate as well). Then, somewhere along the line they CHANGED THE RECIPE and they tasted like CRAP. I bet they thought I wouldn't notice... WRONG. *Did anyone else get the Cocoa Krispies activity book? You needed to save some box tabs AND send money if I remember correctly. Took a good 2 months for it to come in the mail, too lol.
Do you have any recordings of the Nickelodeon cartoon packaging anthology series "Cartoon Kablooey"? There are no episodes yet. It's described on the NickStory Archives: nickstory.fandom.com/wiki/Cartoon_Kablooey
I was born in 1995 and I love the older nick stuff. I know i'm technically not a 90's kid because I wasn't really "awake" in the 90's but there were 90's programs in the early 00's. I can't stand swag. I freaking hate it. I also can't stand television of this time.
I look back and find myself sad. It used to all be about fun on Nick. Now we have just dumb shows of wannabe fame-seekers The UCLA found that over the past few decades, new values had been put forth by media to be embraced. Fame is now number 1, thanks to shows by the media powerhouses like Viacom (Nickelodeon), Disney Corp., etc. Look it up on cyberpsychology . ed u.
You weren't even conscious for the first 5 years of the 90s. You're hardly a 90s kid. 97 was when things started to suck and it was all downhill after that.
The first 5 years of the 90s was hanging onto the 80s. Children of the 90s were born up until the early-mid 90s technically. The youngest born 94-95. Late 90s kids. It was still the 90s.

The Tomorrow People Is Guards.
10:32 Nickelodeon GUTS The Same As American Gladiators.
I remember those commercials! it has been awesome being a kid/pre-teen
Wow I'm in my 30s and I remember every single one.
This is the day I had a moving up ceremony from 2nd to 3rd grade my primary school was grades K-2 and intermediate was 3-5
I love watching the vintage stuff like commercials and TV spots. Even some from when I was a newborn baby and during childhood.
That Keebler commercial was still airing in 2001...I had the Simbta, Roger Rabbit, and King Louie happy meal toys.
Hey, I've always knew Cocoa Krispies had marshmallows for a limited time. And I thought I was just thinking things up here.

Back when Hardee’s aired kids meal commercials, why don’t they air anymore kids meals for Hardee’s nowadays like they used to?
I got Kirby's Dreamland 2 when it came out. However, I really sucked at it and never got past level one.
Yes, Thanks!

John Doe i would say '98
Yeah, I'd say 94 is when the 90s started to define themselves as having nothing to do with the 80s.
