I mean, just in live action alone we semi-recently got Michael Caine in the Nolan trilogy, Andy Serkis in "The Batman", Jeremy Irons in the DCEU, Sean Pertwee in *Gotham* ... and even if he was in only one scene, Douglas Hodge was a good "grounded" Alfred in *Joker* IMHO, I wonder if we'll be seeing more of him and Bruce in the upcoming sequel, I loved Bruce Wayne's actor (Dante Pereira-Olson) small roles in Grant Morrison's *Happy!* , and in *The Midnight Gospel* , I hope he has a bright future as an actor. If someone decided to read my essay-comment, they might notice that I've missed Jack Bannon's portrayal of Alfred in the 3 seasons of *Pennyworth* (which was originally pitched as an official prequel to *Gotham* ), but I can't discuss that one since I haven't watched this show yet... Mario was a good man, and he actually had respect for Jim, I blame Tetch for infecting him the Tetch virus and he wouldn’t have felt jealous for Lee seeing Jim and she would’ve believed Jim wasn’t lying about Mario being infected
I have a question about the scene S3E11 Can someone tell me. Who is the man who fights, next to the masked man, I don't remember his name that almost killed him? What are the young Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle in that scene trying to help him that the guy is a little difficult to Conquer that everyone is trying to stop and help the man? Until the masked man has what he deserves, at the hands of that man? Who is he? Who is it that helps Bruce and Selina? Is it Alfred? Is it the one that fights and helps? If he is then, there is a part of Alfred that at least I did not know. is that perhaps in another life before serving the Wayne, he was something like a spy or something? or am I imagining things? What do you think? Tell me who is he? I would appreciate it very much, to know.
Guyz, he's talking about the person in the top hat who breaks a vase over the first Talon's head, stunning him long enough for Alfred to finish the job. Diego, if you're still wondering 2 years later, that's not a man, it's actually Selina Kyle's mother, Maria Kyle.
Now there needs to be a prequel showing James Gordon's & Alfred Pennyworth's training. Gordon & Alfred are kicking multiple Talon's asses in hand to hand combat, Batman has a extremely difficult time defeating one Talon. Gotham would not even need Batman until Gordon was in Gordon's 40's, plus Gordon has no issues pulling the trigger to kill, less villains.
@Ignas - Unique? Not really, pretty much every modern version of Alfred is an ex-SOE. Even in his first apparition he was a former intelligence agent. There's a show called *Pennyworth* made by the same people who made *Gotham* that is 3 seasons long, and shows Alfred's badass past, and how he met the Waynes. *All-Star Batman* also had a great storyline involving Alfred's past as a total badass, called *"The First Ally"*
