Hahahah best one. I have seen many videos to reset front break warning but ever time it was unsuccessful. As you have suggested, I released the hand break (parking break) and tried again, it's a success. Thank you so much.
When you encounter this issue you have one of two problems. One, your parking brake is on. Two, you have a defective brake sensor. In my case it was the later. I had just swapped old old pads and rotors as well as installed new sensors. The sensors were aftermarket and so probably a bit longer than OEM as the front one was quickly chaffed by the wheel. Which of course compromised the sensor and prevented a reset. This was quickly obvious when i removed the wheel. Installed new sensor and in 5 min all was good.
Mine show 2 together service and brake pad. I can only reduce service miles and unable to get brake pad reset. Any idea how to bypass service and reset brake pads warning ? Thanks
