Roti John always use Western style mayo - mild taste and a little bit sweet. The orange sauce in Roti John in Malaysia is cheese sauce. By the way, spicy mayo with tabasco seem good. Legit! Roti John is so synonym with bazar ramadhan. There's this one dish called Tauhu Sumbat (Stuffed Tofu) which is a must have in my household during iftar. It's simply fried tofu, stuffwd with cucumber, beansprout and grated carrot. The most important part is the dipping sauce. It's kinda refreshing dish after a day long puasa, and also can be served as dessert. Maybe u guys should include Tauhu Sumbat in your ramadan dish list. 🙂🙂
😱😱😱😱 OMG... You guys did it soooooo much better than the original creator... Your kind can sell at between RM15-RM20 per pair... The filling goes sideways... The original normally they would put the beef filling mixed with the eggs, then pour the egg mixture on the pan followed by the bread over the mixture...so the end result a thin looking roti John, not like yours.... So very thick Roti John... I don't normally like Roti John but thanks to you guys, I feel like doing my own Roti John... Tq I-Chang & humsup Jimmy

I think iChang and Jimmy can already start opening a small business stall in the middle of Hong Kong selling the Malaysian food that you are already good at cooking. You can open it only on weekends to make some profit for extra income. With a reasonable price, most Hong Kong people have money and can buy your food. I am sure nowadays Hong Kong people are open to different cuisines. Later, when the time is right, you both can visit Malaysia and indulge in the super variety of local dishes. Malaysia is truely a food heaven on earth. Tasty food everywhere.

during my teenager days around early 90's, Roti John that sell at pasar malam near my secondary school (SMSK) very different from Roti John today!. that time they use Roti and fill it with minced chicken (just like yours) then dip on a batter and fried! So yummy and i always look for it before going home.

Dont force yourselves to finish all the food that you cook because sometimes I find it quite scary especially with Jimmy. You should just eat moderately within your ability. Roti John was originated from Singapore.. 🤔. My first time having it with red soup back in the 80's. Never seen it before in Malaysia at that time. They use french loaf instead.

Roti John was originated from Singapore.. 🤔. My first time having it with red soup back in the 80's. Never seen it before in Malaysia at that time. They use french loaf instead.
I think u guys made better roti john than the one we have here😅😅😅 with the custom made bread and fries. U can never go wrong with that. Epic👍👍👍
