You have sold me one they are 199 today . Gonna get myself one . Thanks for taking the time doing this video as it’s answered lots of my questions I had. Absolutely love your videos as you get straight to the point
thanks for your comment mate . I’m just a consumer and have no ties with kings whatsoever. if you willing to wait you will get for 149 . thanks for watching my videos as I really much appreciate it 👍🍻
Great review mate, looks like they're good quality. I'm surprised that you're not using an air fryer yet, they're a game changer! I just upgraded to the Kmart 25L air fryer\oven and I believe it is the most energy efficient and quickest way to cook. It cycles at 1700w and my Renogy 2000w inverter handles it fine. Cooked a shepherd's pie using a portable induction cooker and the air fryer last night. 👌
Cheers mate . Yes the air fryers are fast but in the Mitsubishi express van I only have 1000watt inverter and only 120ah storage so just bit undersized 🤣 . But yes they are quick and energy efficient for sure. Thanks for watching 👍🍻
thanks for your video. just got one of these delivered today.. cant wait to use it.. just learning the times to cook things (pizzas, roasts, sausage rolls) and all the preheat times that people do
Good review. It seems like a fairly decent & robust oven, I bought one on special, have only done one double pie heat up so far, but was perfect in about 50 - 60 minutes & no warm up time. I like it & I have got a 15v inverter I intend to hook up with Ando’s, but I am also leaning toward a 3.5ltr Aif Fryer I got for canopy camping as a quicker & possibly more efficient use of power. TFS. Cheers
Nice one Dino. Now you just need to rig it up to use the heat generated on the casing to warm water for a shower 😁 I've been thinking of a small Airfryer for cooking ( not heating water) 4 litre etc. They are pretty quick at cooking stuff so even though they are 240v a decent inverter would run them. Before I drop the cash I'd like your thoughts.
The air fryers seem to be very popular . We have one at home we use quite a bit . They are power hungry but they cook extremely fast . I might have to one day take my air fryer in the big van and try it out on a trip. I see kmart have cheap ones for $59 . Maybe one day I will take the plunge . But still thinking about it for now . So my thoughts at the moment mate ‘I’m like you ‘ 🤣 still thinking.. sorry I’m not much help
I believe that if you have the power and the capacity to use an air fryer, it's a no brainier. DENMONKEY has a couple of good RUclips videos about it worth watching. ruclips.net/video/QI0MppS7zn8/видео.html
Awesome stuff Dino. I always wondered how these compared to the roadchef\kickass\Travel buddy units. For the price it’s a no brainer. Bloody went to turn my kickass one on today as I’m up the coast and she wouldn’t turn on so have to take a look when it get home. Hope you get plenty of cooks from it mate
Cheers Jason . Hopefully yours is just blown fuse 🤞. Hopefully it didn’t ruin your outing with the family and you had an enjoyable trip away . Hope you get it sorted . Think all these ovens are made in the same place only except for the travel buddy which still made in Victoria from what I heard . Thanks as always and take care mate 👍🍻
Hi Dino excellent video. I have just purchased a kings 12 volt oven which I will be setting up in the back of my new Ford Ranger. One question I have is have used your oven for heating up pies or something like that and been running it off just your battery but not while the car is running? If you have how much did it drain your battery? I will be putting a 110 amp Lithium Battery in my car. Cheers Peter
It will draw around 10 to 11 amps per hour … so do do a couple of pies if you preheat oven for about hour then cook for about hour you will roughly use about 20 amp hours of power . Hooe this helps thanks for watching 👍🍻
Another top review, really enjoy your videos. Must admit the Kings unit is great for the money but I’m going to stay with the Travel buddy. People talk about step up voltage transformers. These are a good idea if you are still vested in AGM batteries that have a decreasing voltage characteristic with state of charge. If you are on lithium batteries I would not bother. Voltage drop with state of charge is very flat. Just my two cents worth.
Cheers Fred . The travel buddy are really awesome and it’s sad that all these cheap units have been replicated off a Great Australian made product .thanks for watching mate 👍🍻
An absolute must for these ovens is a 12v-14v inverter AN ABSOLUTE MUST otherwise you won’t be happy these ovens run best between 14-15v roasts no problem just forget doing spuds, spuds (potatoes) best done in the coals or a Coleman oven
G’day mate . You would get 4 in there but if you get pies that aren’t so high you would get 8 if you used both shelves but of course the cook time would be extended as well . Hope all has been well and thanks for watching 👍🍻

@@EFFICIENTSELF They have some smaller air fryers on Amazon that only use 1000w. Good enough for 2 people at least👍
thank you i was confused between several ovens , but i think what you have suggested is an good idea.

have you used the step up converter on this oven, a 12 to 15v step up is a must on these ovens.
Havnt used the step up on the oven . They do cook quicker though for sure . Thanks for watching 👍🍻
