OK. I am in Kauai, Hawaii on vacation. Last year I could fly my Mini 3 in the Princeville area and to the west, over the ocean and inland.
This year I get notified of flight restriction due to "US Territorial Water Boundary"
I had gotten the required a LAANC clearance. Looked at FFA Map. It showed no restriction were active. I even went west out of the bogus restriction zone..........!
I had to request that the FAA would allow me to unlock the restriction! I got approved.
So here it is.
