I feel a lot of the same joy in listening that I feel listening to Kai’s albums… SUCH a vibe and so much talent in the production and just everyone’s efforts🙏
I just saw that Rob Grimaldi, who is credited for Hello Stranger (one of my favorite Kai tracks), as well as Butter and other great songs also had his hand in ON TEN😎

Please react to DPR Ian! He's a great Korean-Australian singer, songwriter, producer, chief director/editor from DPR (his company). I don't know if you're familiar with him. At least I couldn't find any of his videos on your channel. He used to be in a Kpop group (C-Clown) back then (2012-2015) but when the group disbanded he then co-founded the company DPR with his friends and is now an independent artist. Before he debuted as a soloist he used to shoot MVs for other korean artists like Mino, Bobby, Taeyang, Loco etc, to save money so he could invest into making DPR what is it now. He only released his first solo song in 2020, before he was just behind the scenes.
He has such an unique style and sound. I highly recommend Don't Go Insane and the Mito Movie (Seraph + 1Shot + Mood + Ribbon ) since it's a medley of 4 songs in total around 7 min. There's also Peanut Butter & Tears, Skins demo (this one is just sad though if you know the story behind it), So I danced, Limbo... There's a lot, all of his music videos are cinematic and stand out even if he doesn't have some blockbuster budget. His music is also very experimental and covers a lot of genres. I think the only main genre that he doesn't have is hip hop and even so he was the main rapper of his old Kpop group Lol The man can do anything.
He's also very vocal about mental health and most of his concepts/lyrics are about his daily struggles with bipolar disorder and DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) even if some of them are fun takes. He created a whole "lore" behind his artistry based on his life dealing with these disorders. Anyway maybe you'll like his work!
By the way it was also announced yesterday that he's directing IU's new music video and staring alongside her (unfortunately not singing it though)!
I am a huge fan of his pretty sure I’ve heard most of his stuff that’s come out so once some new music comes out, I am all over it! I was lucky enough to have met him and hung out with him for a short period of time and he was a great And respectful person
@@rokmanreacts That's amazing! I wasn't sure if you knew him since for me he's a very underrated artist compared to the quality he's putting out there. Maybe you could react to IU's Shopper too even if he's just making the visuals this time. Anyway thank you for the reply. And I'm happy that you got to know him!
Less talking during the songs, you take away from the flow of the Artist 😢
I've tried doing videos where I listen first and then talk on a second pass but whenever I do that I don't think it's the right flow for myself. Whenever I listen to a song my brain naturally just reacts that way. But also I feel like the majority of people who come to this channel are more interested with my thoughts on the songs and whenever I watch them first and talk about it after people usually don't watch it that long
