Hey there, hope you enjoy!:D
As it's very much apparent, I'm not a DJ or anything even remotely close to that. Im just a Rhythm Gamer in love with Japanese-Styled Hardcore. Given there just aren't many if any Gothic Core mixes out there, I tried my best to scoop up some gems and glue em together for this. While this mix certainly contains the timeless and iconic pieces from artists such as gmtn., Team Grimoire or Laur, you should be able to find something new from lesser known artists as well. Pardon me in case you feel that the genres got mixed up a bit here and there, as we delve into bits of Gothic Frenchcore and J-Core, too.
That said, if anyone that views this vid even got a single new favorite from this, I'll view my mission as "Accomplished!"

The kind of songs that get my heart beating faster than ever, and considering how slow my hearts been, this is the best kind of music, this mix is so badass hands down, gets blood pumping nonstop XD

Nice! Hoshino Rikka and Katagiri were new artists to me, Ludicin i discovered pretty recently. Glad to see gothic hardcore is spreading!

Gothic hardcore is so special, great to see so many being appreciative of the genre 🔥
Katagiri's most popular works are breakcore, and they are very interesting takes on the genre if you would like to see them. (eg. silly-willy-nilly, Angel's Salad)
@@oonkadoonk544 recently gotten into breakcore myself, super diverse genre and personally a very fine line between too distorted and „just perfect“ for me^^

I think what's impressive with hardcore is that the first drop can be dogshit but then it gets 10x better
True, though personally in most cases, I enjoy the first drop the most as it’s often a simplified version of the second drop which tends to “try too hard to be epic”😂

I literally figuered something out about myself listening to this.

Are we just different? We like this kind of songs, I sometimes think of myself as different from others or rare because not everyone likes this genre
I guess so… it’s truly an acquired taste. But for us who love the genre, it’s nothing short of art😂

Hey man do you have any recommendations for songs that are insanly good jams with high energy and symphony like this?
Always difficult with how vastly tastes will differ but I personally can’t get enough of the artists „gmtn.“ … they are as genre-defining as it can get, pretty much. Apart from the few songs in this vid, check their other stuff like „trappola bewitching“ … Team grimoire is another safe bet in regards to artists.
… Maybe try helblinde‘s Solace of Oblivion too? It’s not gothic hardcore but has a special symphony to it imo

And yeah that’s probably it’s defined genre but as you already said, there is a wild criss cross in these genres anyways… unfortunately way too few artists so you gotta grab whatever you can - be it classical or gothic, hardcore, frenchcore or crossbreed ;D
