I feel like the most evil thing you can do is actually play as a very nice person for as many people and factions as you can. Then make all of them turn against the legion while siding with the legion at the end. That way they'll pretty much end up getting killed or enslaved by them.
Since you're planning on doing a melee build let me make a recommendation for if you find yourself struggling. Just in case you don't already know about this. If you plan on doing a blind melee run, please disregard. Get a shovel from goodsprings cemetery, go north-west from there and ride the ridge so you can drop down onto Chance's grave and dig up his knife. It stacks with both the grunt and cowboy perks, making it one of the best melee weapons in the game. Early game it absolutely shreds. You can further stack it with super slam, piercing strike, and better criticals. Again, this can carry you through the entire game, so if you wish for more challenge I suggest ignoring it.

Whenever I play a game that allows me to be evil, no matter HOW HARD I try, I cannot be the hero. I will 100% of the time deviate from being a good guy and go full on war criminal. Without fail.
Unarmed is completely broken. I also did a melee explosives build recently. Though if you go Unarmed; there's a ranger in novac that teaches you how to knock down enemies by just walking backward and power attacking. Guareenteed knock down; as soon as they start to get up do it again and wail on them while they are down.

If you didn't know, it is always best to choose the skilled perk at the very start, then when you leave goodsprings choose to change your perks. Change skilled to whatever perk you really wanted for your run and boom. You still get +5 to all of your skills from skilled, but also get your preferred perks

If you uninstall the Courier stash DLC you will not need to start with any of that stuff guaranteed I like starting the game with no deals installed whatsoever and then midway through all install the DLC when I’m ready to start it I have no problems then you should try to. It’s great.

I remember back in the day when I was young I made an unarmed most evil charscter I could just to see it, and I was amazed one of my favorite playthroughs of any game ever. You can do fucked up stuff everywhere, and surprisingly I thought unarmed was way easier than a gun playthrough😂

Since you went this way an interesting torture, i mean a challenge would be attempt to complete main storyline without killing ANYONE (not by your arms or companions) - with maxed out Barter& Speech ( and some sneak and medicine) its possible, if painful.
I have seen someone do this in the past - but I am not familiar enough with the game to even attempt that kind of feat! Maybe one day, in the distant future!

Ngl you should really watch the first 3 movies and stop there they are so fire. I didn’t like the temple of doom which is the 2nd one but the 1st and 3rd are some of the best films I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend checking it out

And there's unique ncr dog tags you can get and essentially are brass knuckles they cut right through dt.
