I know you guys say it as a joke that "aur kya chahte hain ap log dramo se" but I seriously mean it now. BRKRJ is fine. Its better than most dramas that have aired in a long time. I dont understand what more you want from it. Other than the stretching it makes complete sense

I don't watch shiddat, just saw few reels of it. But my one of cousin watch this to recall her misery, sad thing is, she is still married to the guy and spoiling him like a toddler, (he does nothing, she is totally dependent on her family financially) but stay scared of him like he is monster, now we heard she started to speak up and get into fight because we noticed she is mentally quite bottled up. That guy wasn't only narcissist but a typical abusive man who started to abuse her mentally and physically on the very next day of marriage along whole family, but sad that no one took stand for her knowing about her situation, my khala kept sending police to their home to save daughter from intense life threatening violence (even in her pregnancies) from whole family, but didn't bother to take her daughter back, instead my khala kept spoiling her dhamad as if she adopted him, my khala is a real culprit here for pushing her daughter into such hell, she is only sister of 4 brothers and khala didn't even let her sons do anything for their sister, they kept fighting with eachother and now they are fed up from their sister and her situations.
I beg people now to not marry their daughters off as if they are burden, and even if you do and have to adopt the grown man totally and have to spoil him with everything while he is making your daughter's life hell, then just take your daughter back your home and take care of her instead of giving everything to your unworthy dhamads.

BRKRJ :-why are you saying anything does not make sense.. Its the only drama everything make sense.. Channo aunty track is absolutely necessary because young couple needs some one mature who makes them understand things... And death scene reflects what if they are actually separated??

And I though the story progressed pretty well in a natural and logical way. Plus all the people we meet in our daily lives also contribute to our growth as people. Channo Aunty and husband were such characters for Freeha and Farhad. JoJo Kiran phopoo and neighbors were their strengths who tried to keep them together while parents and society were the ones who created challenges and tried to pull them apart. It was very well balanced overall.

    • @INDIANWEBSERIESREVIEW
      @INDIANWEBSERIESREVIEW 3 дня назад +1

I think Channo Aunty's death is what they might be trying to indicate the audience that someone is going to die. And in one scene Channo also said that she see herself in Freeya as they also got married like Farhad and Freeya got and they might be indicating that sooner or later your loved ones left you.

BRKRJ: I am thoroughly enjoying all the episodes yeah in few scenes it was little boring but the drama didn't got out of its track. For me Hamza as Farhad is winning over anyone else as his breakdown when Freeya told her decision was evident and when Freeya also told her parents that she did what they wanted her pain was visible what she was going through. The ending might not be a happy one but it is best drama of this year but sadly you people and many people are not liking it.

    Wow.
Amna , why k-dramas are getting popular. According to me , It's not because of their beauty, glamour, or fantasy. It's because there are unique stories without ( unnecessarily) toxic characters and provides positive entertainment, plus they just end in 16 to 20 episodes, no dragging of plots, and no boring scenes. Even they make the most intense topics so entertaining and funny that it reduces the intensity of that. Our writers, directors, and all drama makers should learn from them, and I request you to do hot-pod on this topic. Love your content ❤

It may have dragged a bit but 2nd last episode of Burns road was excellent and is wrapping up well. At least it makes sense and maybe the death of Channo is needed to show what pain of seperation is . They knew how much love they had and had and when it becomes impossible to get that person back it will show them how to value eachother. I thought the dialogues were excellent and make more sense then a lot of other shows which have so many flaws.

Very disappointed in your review of BRKRJ. I am convinced now you guys are biased towards dramas that mainly sell "chemistry".This drama is underrated and underappreaciated. ZPKB and BRKRJ are my 2 favorites, and i can relate to most of the characters. It was so much better than the likes of Ishq Murshid Radd Shifdat Khaie Tere Bin Gentleman etc which are full of flaws.Majority of the drama had logic good dialogues good messages good acting. Iqra and Hamza had natural chemistry. The only problem they stretched it a little and it should have been maximum 30 episodes. After a few slow episodes 2nd last episode came with a bang. Great dialogues and writing. So many emotions.
ZQ apology. Good to see an older person apologize for her behavior. Freeha reaction was so natural she didn't immediately say it's fine you are older you can do anything
Freeha conversation with her parents about letting kids make their mistakes. There should not be such a big punishment for making your own choice. That line hit me hard.Freeha conversation with Kiran. Pehli chot par jawab de deya hota......although Kiran dialouge delivery wasnt great but the dialougues were. Freeha is really one of the most balanced female characters I have seen in Pakistani dramas. Second to Meenu from ZPKB. Hamza Sohail also has been careful in choosing non toxic male roles to play and I hope he will continue to do so.
Freeha visiting Farhad in jail. Farhad repentant and remorseful attitude. Freeha and Farhad bittersweet conversation on the roof. Their declaration of love for each other. You could see they are both in pain.Farhad depression after Freeha leaves. Channo aunty death had me in tears. Channo aunty looked beautiful in the memories.
Freeha and Kiran on bike going to beat up Shahzain made me smile...although they could both get accused of assault and battery. Maybe unrealistic but still good.
    Kiran and JoJo arguing.
Can't wait for last episode. Looks like it will end in filmy style with Farhad getting shot and saving Freeha brother. Will miss this drama Freeha and Farhad. I hope Farhad survives and they have a happy ending.

Couldn't agree more!! I don't know why many people has commented on BRKRJ comment box that it is one the most boring drama? If one drama is showing us a hard hitting reality why we can't we give it a try? Why we always think that if a loving hubby and wife are away from each other would be depressing and would think about their partner all the time? Yeah they miss each other care for each other but it's true that you also do your regular work too, and it's a story of Romeo Juliet who are from 21st century and many people have these issues in their life and home. For me it's best drama which is airing now. I would miss it because those dramas like Ishq Murshid and Tere Bin were massive let down in the terms of story but BRKRJ is not.

    • @priyankasathe1404

I guess you are the only one who understood that their love story is not passionate enough
I don't even see a love story over there, drama makers didn't use the chemistry between main lead, hence audiance never connected to there love story, giving the name of Romeo Juliet to this story was an insult to Shakespeare
The drama is gonna hv happy ending with celebration of the Anniversary of Freeya and Farhad, but my question is was it worth to call it lovestory? It was nowhere close to that
It was just Farhad tragic story where Freeya had no role to play instead of waiting
I wonder why Iqra chose this character, A list actress like her should choose role where she can use her potential to the fullest, in this drama Shahira had much role to play than her, can't she see that?

I started watching the review of Burns Road's Romeo and Juliet because I was eager to see a review for this drama, which I've been following closely from India for the past five months. I dedicated a lot of time to this drama because of its title and promising lead cast, as I was looking for a romantic love story to enjoy. While the drama initially caught my attention with its premise, I felt increasingly disappointed as it progressed. The writer seemed more focused on multiple side plots, neglecting the development of the main leads. There were six to eight side stories running simultaneously, overshadowing the main romance that initially drew me in. I feel betrayed as an audience member because dramas that gain attention usually focus on their lead pairs, and here, despite having talented lead actors and a promising romantic storyline, the writer chose to prioritize social issues instead. If they wanted to address social issues, they could have created a separate drama for that purpose, rather than diluting the main storyline of a supposed love story. It's illogical to market a drama as a romantic love story with A-list actors and then sideline that aspect for social commentary.
I request you to address my comment as I feel betrayed and disappointed as viewer

Farhad from BRKRJ should have some shame, he hurt Freeya so much, left her alone to suffer all the time, never went back to her to apologise or see how is she doing and suddenly in 5 min he realised that he can't do it without her,
And I find Freeya stupid that instead of fixing and confronting thigs with Farhad she just chose to forgive him, from my lence as audience nothing convince me that Farhad ever loved Freeya, it was infatuation and when he got the reality check from life he just abonded her to suffer, Freeya was alone in her relationship, in marriage and in that home.
When Freeya was leaving her parents before marriage he promised her that he will never leave her alone but the moment Farhad encountered his first hardship he turned his back to Freeya and didn't show any signs of longing or missing her
Now suddenly Farhad realised that he needs Freeya and some how I fail to understand that what is it that convincing Freeya to forgive or to go back to Farhad, if he can't keep his promise once it is very likely that he will do the same again.
So for me the reunion of Farhad and Freeya doesn't make any sense, instead i think they should never reunite

I'm just asking for my curiosity: won't we call Zainab Abbas a presenter instead of a commentator? In Cricketing terminology, a commentator is someone who gives live commentary during a match, which is mainly done by ex-cricketers, and a presenter is the one who hosts and asks questions to the commentators in the middle or after the game. @aamna

BRRJ: if I was Fariha, I wouldn’t be able to live in that house in that area. Her children would have to grow up with uneducated relatives, she would end up resenting Farhad. Idk why dramas show these mismatched couples.

    • @SAMINAHASNAIN-ft5vj
      @SAMINAHASNAIN-ft5vj 3 дня назад +12

Farhad is educated, progressive, open minded, loving, and respectful. He values Freeha. His sister is also educated and supportive. They have a business and they have opportunities to change their circumstances. But no one in their house is toxic. Every marriage has its own challenges whether you come from same background or not.
My parents came from mismatched background but my father was a self made educated man who was able to change his status in life. They built a life together. I feel more sorry for couples who come from same background but still don't have any love or respect.
House car bank balance all changes. But a person character and sharafat level doesn't. Our society should focus on what's important not materialistic things.
So much classism only exists in Pakistan. My husband and I are from different social backgrounds but we only feel it most when we are visiting Pakistan. Any issues we had, it has never been about our social class.

@nkhan8933 it's much more difficult to live with mismatched values and personalities than mismatched social circumstances. Look at Jafaa NoorJehan and JSPJ. Freeha and Farhad are friends and love each other. Sometimes you just click with someone who on the surface may have nothing in common with you but may be your soul mate and best friend in life.

Like sonia used to copy and try to act like sridevi and priyanka.
Only yumna is the best versatile and decently dressed pakistani actress.

Also in jspj i dont get zq's character. Like yes husan ara is a bad person but she did bad with juni and others. Which zq character doesnt know. Dekha jaye tw she didnt do as such anything bad with zq. Both collided in mall and usually we say like this k dekh k nae chal skti nd all and zq waa equally badtameezi like husan ara did badtameezi but that was not to the extenr that she refused the shadi at this moment also she did humiliated husan ara when she came home. Revenge is pretty much taken i guess.

The whole drama BRKRJ is such a disappointment, i invested 5 month in this drama, by knowing the lead and drama title, but it has misleading title, the drama is based on wrong upbringing, mental health and domestic abuse
There is nothing related to Romeo Juliet, the main lead got hardly any screen time, the whole 8 episode of slow pace, side character and least about lead character and when time came to fix the relationship of main lead then they wrapped in 5 min.
The lead of drama are Kiran and Farhad mother
Freeya and Farhad are just side character, director never gave enough screen time to Freeya and Farhad because he was busy in adjusting lightings, writer never wrote in-depth dialogues for the Romeo Juliet, it was always superficial conversation, as a result audiance couldn't connect to the Romeo Juliet story, they both hv wasted sich a supreme pairing as writer was busy in writing more side stories
The funny part is that Farhad didn't ever shown any signs of longing for freeya and suddenly in the last episode he realised that Freeya is everything for him
Writer wanted to achieve everything in one project, so she made khichdi of all the stories and traumatized all the audience
    Pathetic writing and huge disappointment

You know what I dropped it after watching 3 episodes but again thought of giving it try after 2 months and I thoroughly enjoyed each and every moment, I agree that more than love story it is all about social issues and the title of the drama is misleading but all these characters are actually related and according to me they are showing it in very subtle way so I am enjoying it and I thought that Farhad Freeya could have got more screen time but I think it's the story of society, family so it doesn't seems like they have added unnecessary plots according to me. By the way hello from fellow Indian 😀

If fareha and farhad happily live forver ... What is the msg then in this full of messges excellent writing sort of drama ??????
Y everyone forgot they ran from homes in start , yeh shadi bhaag k hue the.
Infact many dramas are showing this stupid thing bhag jana is not so feasible never ever this must b adressed seriously, baqe sab baten aik taraf aur parents ko chor k bhaag jana aur shadi krna aik taraf , is harkat ko adress kr k punishment milni chahyay aqalmamd mature fareeha aur bewaqoof farhad ko jis ko muhabat ka bukhar utarnay main 4 din he lagay thy bs , wo to fareha he too much serious the for him warna farhad jaisay ka piyar to 4 din main phurr kr gya tha aur phir reh gya tha aik ghareeb ghar ka miskeen larka jo kuch nae kr skta..

The message is (just to name a few)
to give your children a chance to make their own choices and not force your choices on them. How to be supportive parents.
The children were not right to run away but parents were not right to force their choices on their daughter. The emotional blackmail and the pressure is unnecessary.
Parents are not doing their daughters a favor by educating them or giving them the same freedom as their sons. This is their right. Even our religion acknowledges this.
Parents and children need to forgive each other because family is family. Don't turn your back on your family.
Love can happen at every age
Class and zaat bradari actually mean nothing
Mental health issues have many different faces. Women need to live for themselves not only for husband and wife.
No one should have to live with abusive relationship or disrespect.
Boys also suffer from different types of abuse and it impacts their relationships.
Make your daughters strong independent and empowered. And then trust them to make some choices for themselves. Don't give them freedom only to take away when it matters most. Don't give them a voice to silence them. That's why Meenu father in ZPKB is the most progressive father I have seen in dramas recently even though he's poor uneducated and lives in a village
