I was quite shocked back when Ahmed Shehzad said that to Dilshan and it was like no one reacted in Pakistan or in general. Very good to see that you brought that point here. I must say few points like hero-worship is also a big obstacle in India, I attribute to the culture of kings and fables. I felt so bad when India lost world cup and now I feel so high after India won the world cup. But pat Cummins taught me something! The way he carried himself before the final and after the final, that was like Dhoni. Could sense some detachment. We need more leaders like Dhoni and Rohit Sharma and let the common man know that emotions have their place. ONE BRUTAL FACT: India would have lost this world cup had they played this in India!!! My uncle who is a fatherly figure and an intellectual person . He sat with me and taught me that this is the biggest problem of Pakistanis. You will find very few people who are thorough professionals and they don’t wear their religion up their sleeves. He told me that even from being a Muslims perspective how can you even think of being complacent . The belief in god that things will go well is your faith however before that you need to put in all effort and take necessary actions . I have carried that lecture with me since . The biggest problem of Pakistan is that they take refuge using religion card to hide their shortcomings.

Shan Masood has that aura of a leader. He is smart, shows intent which we saw in Australia and I think he is talented too.
Islam teaches us to work harder than everyone and then leave the results to Allah. Pakistanis think leave everything to Allah and then let Allah do the work needed. Its not about Islamic ideology anymore, its about our mentality to use religion to hide our deep rooted flaws.
As a doctor, I have seen many senior doctors to quote Quranic verses while prescribing medication just because they know our people relate more easily to religion than other things. Patients are told : Allah ki marzi instead of telling them the real cause of the failure which is in most of the cases is system's inability. We will continue to reap the results of Zia ul Haq even hundred years after his death. He destroyed the mentality of this whole nation by propagating the religion to an extent that now it will take decades of education to wipe it off.
Religion is main reason behind this mentality. Narad Muni has said sensible religion will vanished & falsehood will prevail in Kaliyug.

One of my friend was from Pakistani Hindu community and he was supporting Pakistani cricket team all the time , once we were watching cricket match between Pak and India and shoeb malik said that thanks all Muslims for the support . He looked at me and he now hates Pakistani team . He is very happy now to see the Pakistani team losing from even small teams

This is an Indian mentality, where you judge the entire Pak based on the behavior of the cricket team. That's not the case . You'll find many like Muzammil but unfortunately they are in different profession, not playing cricket for Pak. We had many good educated legendary players in the past but unfortunately our cricket board has messed up everything. Don't generalize the entire country based on the cricket team.

After all they come from the same society and are the reflection of the same. I am not saying Indians are fault free and we have our own challenges but we don't bring religion into everything.

I remember the Pakistan teams from the 1970's to 1990's. None of the players prostrated after scoring a century or winning a match. The post match interviews were not laced with insha Allah. Most of the players spoke confidently in both English and Urdu. Hardly anyone kept a beard. The religious fanaticism which started infecting the country during Zia's reign had to infect sports eventually.

I have a doubt and hope that someone can clear it. I heard from most Pakistani cricketers speaking of or using the almighty Allah's name often in their interviews or wherever they are asked to speak. Many other team players don't do so, or at least don't use that often. Is it their way of life or taught in or anything else about it? If it is related to Islam then why do Bangladesh or Afghanistan team players don't do so that often?

In India, muslims have their own localities and they are breeding like rabbits, their population is rising rapidly if you think they are oppressed. You have to accept that your community has an exclusive mindset, you guys fight even amongst themselves over we are punjabis, we are pathans and such.
