Creation of Pakistan was to stop expansion of Soviet Russia. Islam was the best tool to achieve it. Using islam to break countries has been used by Britishers and Americans lot of times. They are very easy to follow filled with hatred quickly get ready to kill others can be rallied easily by funding few mosques. I hope u get it and muslims is the best way to pressure on Modi govt. If u don't do like we say we will start funding those mosques in your country and also run the media propaganda

For space related technology - name of engineering branch is AEROSPACE ENGINEERING - you can google about it. A lot of IITs and premiere engineering colleges offer it in India since the 90s. :)

Two mistakes in the video. Firstly, Indian space program was started in 1962 named as INCOSPAR. It was renamed as ISRO in 1969. Secondly, India has already reached on the Moon way back in 2008 under Chandrayan 1. So, India is already the 4th nation to reach the Moon. The difference this time is that Chandrayan 3 is trying for soft landing on lunar surface which is different from impact landing. Also it will be the first mission on South Pole of moon, 70 * south.

Post winning the Nobel prize, Dr Salam went to India after many bureaucratic difficulties in search of his beloved teacher. He finally met him at his residence. The teacher had grown very feeble and old. Dr Salam put his Nobel prize medal around his neck and told him that the medal belonged to Prof. Ganguly who instilled in Salam the passion for mathematics when he was in college.
It’s so intriguing how the destinies of the two nations are intertwined. An Indian prof inspired a Pakistani to pursue sciences who later played a pivotal role in the development of Pakistan’s nuclear programme.

I completely agree with your point of view that Pakistan is not a scientific and rational society. The best decision I made was to leave Pakistan, as I would never be appreciated there. Now, I'm happily pursuing my Master's degree in data science in Germany. Conducting research on various topics to understand the use of social media, why and how humans behave online, and how it translates into offline/real life. Hopefully, if all goes according to plan, I'll start my PhD in AI soon. It broke my heart and soul when I left Pakistan, but now, looking back, I would say that I made the best decision of my life. I was always ridiculed for my critical, logical, and rational thinking in Pakistan. People here appreciate me for my logical, rational, and scientific thinking. I'm one of the few lucky ones for whom the education system wasn't able to conform to their standards, and my critical thinking stayed intact. I was beaten up by most teachers in my school years. Once, my Islamait teacher hit me so hard on the side of my head that my left ear had a ringing sound for two weeks and I wasn't able to hear. The reason for that horrible abuse from my teacher was that I asked some very critical questions about Islam, and I wanted to attempt the exam of Islamait in 9th grade in English. In 9th grade, we were taught how genes work and how males are responsible for determining the sex of the fetus in biology class. On the other hand, a hardcore extremist and consecutive teacher of Urdu said this is all bullshit, and it is the female who determines the sex of the fetus. This is the reality of the education system in Pakistan. I didn't do well in matriculation and the FSC system as I can't memorize text and then produce it in the exams as I think logically. In bachelor’s university, my peers would memorize the answers to the mathematical questions so they could answer them in their exams. Favoritism and brown nosing were two of the reasons I didn't want to pursue further education in Pakistan. In my 4th year of a bachelor’s degree, when I started working on my thesis, my group was rejected, and I was put in another group to do research and thesis work. I didn't want to work with those peers as I didn't get along with them for personal reasons, and when I approached my teachers and said that either I would like to make another group of mine to do my thesis or to do it alone, I was told by my teachers to worry about my death as both of them said that no one would come to my funeral if I kept behaving like this (being logical, rational, scientific, and standing up for my values and ethics). I gave them a lecture that I can easily tell you they will remember for the rest of their lives. Any layered argument I had about any topic that was being discussed, and I was told to shut up with my 'philosophy'. Reminded me of Plato's allegory of the cave. These are just a few instances I mentioned, and there are hundreds more in the past that I can recall. Pakistan will never prosper, as this is how you behave with logical, rational, and scientific people. India has prospered as they have had a functional democracy since 1947, and their government has focused on education. While Pakistan only focused on becoming a security and rentier state. Pakistan's education budget is a joke! Most university graduates only get degrees for the sake of getting a degree and not for knowledge, as there is no thirst for or desire for knowledge among the people of Pakistan. There isn't much rational, logical, and scientific thinking in the universities of Pakistan. The ones who could have changed the future of Pakistan have left the country and are doing great in their respective fields around the world.

The pain and frustration that this man feels for his country is palpable in his voice. Unfortunately, the trajectory of last 75 years since Independence has resulted in the current situation. Unless and until the religious element and reactionary element is brought to heed, I do not see a way forward. In India, I can feel the nationalism when I visit. Nationalism can be a source of good in developing pride and a sense of purpose. However, gone un checked it can be toxic also. I hope we Indians avoid that fate.
