He's talking about a culture that's considered absurd by the general population of Pakistan as well. You're missing the whole point if you want to label the entire society in the light of it. There's nothing conservative about making weird sexual jokes and objectifying women on a stage. And there are numerous examples of this kind of "entertainment" in India and other countries as well, like the Bhojpuri and B grade Indian films. Then there's Honey Singh, one of the most popular singers over there who's just famous for misogynistic lyrics. Let the criticism just be directed towards those who are actually involved in it instead of using it as some kind of leverage against an entire society

We all must promote love and respect for each other. Though I am a Muslim but it gives me pain when in our dramas and fils Hindu characters are labelled with derogatory remarks. This is not Islam at all. Everyone ought to be respected. We Indians used to contribute 23 % GDP of the entire world and now we are begging to purchase bombs and missiles to hit each other. These were neither the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) nor even great Shiri Raam G or Budha G. I equally respect all such great people and bow my head in their honour. ❤🙏❤

      @tinguzz Месяц назад +12

@@MuhammadAwais-ru6ci Thanks for the question. A simplistic explanation is as below.
Dharma has the Sanskrit root dhri, which means "that which upholds" or "that without which nothing can stand" or "that which maintains the stability and harmony of the universe." Dharma encompasses the natural, innate behavior of things, duty, law, ethics, virtue, etc. Every entity in the cosmos has its particular dharma -- from the electron, which has the dharma to move in a certain manner, to the clouds, galaxies, plants, insects, and of course, man. Man's understanding of the dharma of inanimate things is what we now call physics.
Dharma happens naturally but Religions are made by "One God", One Prophet and one Prophecy.

Muzamal , You are absolutely right that Punjabi stage dramas of Pakistan have done a great deal of damage to our society in general and Pakistani Punjabi men in particular .These Punjabi stage dramas have made almost all men in Pakistani Punjab as a theater Juggat baaz . I correctly remember people used to boast about Faisalabadis by narrating proudly that "Faisalabad ch kanak thori paida hondi aay tay juggat zayaada". The vulgar dancing of women , shameful dialogues of so called artist and content of Pakistani stage dramas are next to garbage and vulgar word is even not that vulgar to describe the vulgarity of those Pakistani Punjabis stage dramas. In my personal opinion , In Pakistan, the way Punjabi language is spoken , communicated and perceived have now led people in Pakistani Punjab believe that Punjabi is associated with rudeness , abuse , illiteracy and language of poor people .
I am sure that its a state who has done this knowingly because they wanted to erase ethnic signatures from a person life by replacing that with ideological signatures and since Pakistani Punjabis call shots in the power strata of Pakistan so it was natural for the state to first start erasing this ethnic stamp of people in Punjab.
On the other hand Muzammal , If you have watched Indian Punjabi movies recently , then you would be amazed to realize that they are now doing real comedy with pinch of humor and sarcasm in Punjabi language. Indian Punjabi movies are infact light years away from the Pakistani Maula Jutt , Weshi Jutt , Badmaash Rajput and Ziddi Gujjar kind of stupid movies which have no content whatsoever.
My conclusion is that I agree with you but also agree with this phenomena that Punjabi identity and beautiful Punjabi culture was erased by same MULLAH MILITART alliance who wanted to make Pakistan a hard core idealogical state and the tools that state used were Tablighi Jamat , Jamaat e Islami , PTV ,motivational speakers Madressa schooling and erasing thought provoking and critical thinking stuffs from the syllabus.

For the past three years, we've faced constant delays in salary payments, often going 5-6 months without pay. Despite multiple protests, the situation remains unresolved, and our faculty and staff have been on a hunger strike for the past five days.
As the second-largest university in the province, we urge the government to address this issue with a permanent solution, rather than temporary bailouts. The current instability is damaging the quality of education.

Well marathi cinema culture drama ( नाटक ) in true sense showcases the rich culture that Maharashtra has, But at same time with such jewels actors performers we also don't hesitate to grab public attention on Realistic problems, Typical society mentality, Even politics.
All because of the mindset and the Vaarkari sampraday ( वारकरी पंथ संप्रदाय ) ❤ we have,
Which itself include the god. Nd we really appreciate it.

You’ve made an excellent video! It’s absolutely on point. These stage dramas have corrupted our society, and we’ve become so used to joking about things that are actually heinous crimes. I’m from Lahore, and I know how normal this has become. Everywhere, especially in gatherings of young boys or men, this is the kind of stuff that’s discussed, just to make ourselves laugh or for entertainment. Hats off to you, bro!

I really appreciate you for addressing this issue of vulgar Punjabi stage dramas & jugat bazi. As someone from Islamabad, I have come across students from XYZ city of punjab do jugat bazi on teachers, friends and fellows about their appearance, eyesight, intellectual level etc. I was surprised that they don't feel bad about their actions. Mocking others' appearance, financial status, & ethnicity is totally unacceptable. It's disturbing to see some news channels promoting this content. We need to promote respect, inclusivity, and empathy. Let's encourage constructive dialogue and meaningful entertainment.

JazakAllah Khair. Indeed, the vulgarity and moral degradation often portrayed in social media and stage dramas are a direct cause of the decline in our society's ethics. Unfortunately, organizations like PEMRA and the Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC), which are responsible for safeguarding public interest and morality, often remain silent. These institutions are obliged to take effective steps to protect Pakistan's cultural sovereignty and integrity.
After the creation of Pakistan, Urdu was used as a tool for linguistic dominance, suppressing regional languages. Bengal and Sindh protested against this, but they were labeled as traitors. Unfortunately, Punjab supported this agenda, and Punjabi was portrayed as a language of vulgarity, mockery, and ignorance through stage and TV dramas, so that people would distance themselves from Punjabi and elevate Urdu and its speakers. As a result, our social and cultural values suffered greatly.
I hope your program is not the last, and that you will continue to shake the conscience of the rulers through such initiatives. It is essential to raise awareness among the public that this decades-long attack on our culture and society, orchestrated by the establishment, is aimed at destroying our cultural heritage. If it is not stopped, it will soon be difficult for us to even sit together with our mothers, sisters, and children.

Overall it shows the cavemen mindset of the people of subcontinent. South Asians love to be praised for their culture, history etc but never look within themselves to see the void that exists within themselves at so many levels.

I would request you to please create a v-log about the humiliation of the transgender community as well which also is a very pressing issue in Pakistan.
Your effort is much appreciated. Thank you.

But during the night it is full of theaters in which you can find vulgar dances. The dancers are forced to perform in front of hulligans. Reports have been there of rape and violence.
