Damn he took answering the allegations seriously
He's right but also eh. Most patches you look at his match history and you see him spamming one comp that's op lol... He forgot to mention, play either ashe, Kaisa and you win xD or if you get a couple cloaks force syndra and it's free.. that's what I've been doing. As usual.. you just play the items you get.
This next patch should spice things up a bit. Though I think he's just going to play that dragonlord comp a lot more since the others are getting nerfed
@@OArchivesX ok i havent yet seen the video, but isnt that exactly the point ? you play your default and you need to be skilled enough to see the spot to not play your default and play what you are given, because in that specific spot the game gave you so big of an advantage, it is just simply better even though your default comp is stronger generally.
the point is he talks about seeing all this stuff and "controlling rng" but at the end of the day you look at their match history and it's the same comps being forced lol. Sometimes the game forces you to play something else, but most of the time you can just force Kaisa Or ashe for a top 4 and not care about anything else lol. And winstreaking early is complete rng if you get the 2 star darius, or storyweaver start.
@@OArchivesXbait used to be believable
@@OArchivesX If u wanna see and judge a players skill, watch their matches during tournaments instead. He cooks up all kind of super creative shit. And even there, this game is way too patch/meta sensitive that if u have an opening into an OP comp, u gotta take it. He is just trying to say keep an eye on the meta, and try to predict and prepare for possibilities so when they come ur way u r rdy, even tho it looks like highroll, without the prediction it wouldnt have been as other choices wouldve been made along the way
I don't ever comment but it's this kind of educational video that really make me appreciate Dishsoap. He'll take the time and effort to help others learn and improve and I think it also shines through in his normal videos as well. It takes a certain strength of character to be patience, humble, and kind enough to be an educator. And as fun as the ego/hype/clickbait videos are, I'm glad there is still space in the community for videos like this to be made.
This was actually very informative. Thanks a lot! I went from losing nearly every game to getting top 4s
Tf did you play like 2 games after this 20 min vid

Bruhh 💀
Dishsoap. My favourite kind of soap.
I dont know if any other youtuber across games I play makes content this well explained and informative, since watching your videos Ive been climbing consistently and since I'm newer to TFT my understanding of the game and mechanics has shot up, keep up the good work :D
Like these vids more than vods. great vid bruv
This is such a great video! Keep doing more informative stuff like this, really helped with spot recognition & the vods included to show what you meant were a very nice addition to the video
I like your pfp
Really glad you released this. Hope to see more lessons from you.
Really love the style of the video, got real clarity on some of my game aspects
Loved the video and format. Could listen to general tips and thoughts on the game all day
Informative video! It was cool to see your thought process on other players tough spots to judge and provide input on what they could have missed.
Analysing tough choices, whether they result in good or bad outcomes, is very interesting to hear. Seeing someone’s thought process gives a lot of insight into complex topics in TFT.
Definitely more of this format!
Great vid! Being able to "make" yourself luckier is honestly one of the coolest parts of tft, like pulling through and manipulating all the variables and odds to make sure things go the right way for you, but im still far from that level xdd
Thanks for the vid. I've been feeling really down about TFT lately, not knowing why I've been in a slump and was just about ready to give up this set but this video gave me some ideas of things I can study and work on.
WE NEED MORE VIDEOS LIKE THIS, super informative
Great video with in-depth analysis and excellent examples. This type of content is sorely lacking from TFT and it's awesome you made it! I've been masters in multiple sets and a lot of these subtler things you describe (playing uncontested means roll later, etc.) I'm only just now considering and using to get higher ELO.
Thanks for the LW Shiv example. You’re so right when you think about how your board ideally would look in the late game.
I'd like to see more of this format, that was really instructive
great format! I think most of the playerbase really learnt from this video including myself
I love this guy. Appreciate the effort Dish.
got to diamond literally the same day after watching this, very good vids love watching you play keep it up!
FANTASTIC IDEA FOR A VIDEO!!
love the format
Insanely good video hands down. Don’t know why people are coming for you. You’re the goat for a reason dishsoap!
More videos like this please love the review of players and their potential late game boards super early in the game
i'd love to get more educational videos like this
Best informative content on TFT out there.
Thank you for putting this video out! I was waiting for someone to address the "highroll" comments. They're so annoying. Admittedly, I've found myself saying this a lot more this patch too.
I like learning some new stuff. I like this format. It would be cool to get a video of one of your games where you salvage a bad game into a 4th or 5th and see your thought process
thank you for this video, for me (hard stuck master) it's very informative and I hope you will post more in depth materials like this one.
Really enjoying the informational format instead of highlight reel
Great video for understanding how to improve as a player. gj
Amazing video, thanks for sharing your thought process. No excuses not to climb now hah
The explanation makes so much sense. I am currently emerald 4 and looking into improving my gameplay.
Little tidbits and reminders like this help us out in analyzing what can help us level up our gameplay. It just comes to show that being updated with information is a key to being great.
I have one aspect though that I get confused upon a lot. Which is positioning. Whats your take on it? Is it essential to gameplay or just, front line back line throw kt in
Damn man this is an AMAZING video! Plz more tutos like that!
Great video enjoyed it very much. Would love to see similar content on other topics.
So good! Make more of these
Great video
more of these please
Great video, do more of these pls
More videos like this please.
Great vid
Really good video
Nice video
Good format
Yes pls more fundamentals, perhaps with vods
I would love a video about econ in this format
MORE PLEASE
Thanks to the video I realised I havent played an ap comp in over 20 games!!!! I need to look at my spots better. Master Tier here we go
Thank you
i dont comment at all but i had to. To tell you that these types of videos are some of the best content you could do! TY from NZ!
Super good video imo. It’s what separates dish from low elo scrubs like us
As someone new, this was way more helpful than watching an entire 30min game video.
alune from orb with ap items I actually remember missing this quite a few times
I like these kind of videos, I find that educational tft is actually pretty rare to find save for frodan and it's hard to learn from cherry picked vods regardless if it was played well or not.
You are my fav no cap
pls do more of theese
Nice 👍

On the verdict of bad item slams, what am I supposed to do when I for example get a good uncontested duelist opener, slam 2-3 really good items and then just proceed to get dealt tears and rods exclusively? Acknowledge my duelist reroll won't suffice and try to hit a 2* 5 cost like Hwei or Azir to make use of those items? Just suck it up and stay on duelist and try to make top 4?
Definitely been guilty of being oblivious to a great opener and it costing me an 8th lmao
Wait people actually hate dishoap? Im only on the youtube side but I just watch him cuz hes informative while playing thats why I hope he post vods of his gameplay i aint clicking on twitch for that my phone is shit
I have a question regarding "calling comps" I hover between emerald/diamond, no ego about it, just for context.
I notice that in games where I do call a comp, I just straight up get contested. There is no respect for it. Is it only something that is cared about higher ELO or am I missing something?
Mid master isn't high elo, but I can give you my take on it. The better player will respect the call out, as contesting can lead to holding hands 7th-8th, on the other hand, if they're calling from a spot that's really bad (hard forcing), then you have every right to play it and contest them (since you're in a much better spot). Me personally, I will just pivot and play for top 5 because contesting is incredibly risky. But to directly answer your question, people will purposefully hold the unit/comp you called out. For example, someone calls shen cuz he picked the hero augment, at least 3 players held shen pair on bench and he just went 8th (this is only possible if holding enemy champs doesn't fuck over your econ). This feels like a very master thing to do (and not gm/chall), but when I see someone call, I will go out of my way to hold their units (and that's probably not the right play lol).
my man took luck and turned it into a skill
The vid is over is it safe to unmute now?
can you make a video on when to upgrade your board and how much, e.g. when do i need to roll at 6 when my spike is around level 8 and all that.
basically how do i keep balance between board strength and econ
Play a lot of games, critique your own play in retrospect, don't expect to learn a highly situational/dynamic game from watching a 20 minute guide on RUclips.
he said so though. If you have pairs early, you roll on 3-2 to stabalize then you just econ back up. Since you're stable, u're more inclined to win streak = more gold to send on 4-2. You know you need to roll when you can notice your spike and need to spike. Your spike would be kindred 2
on 3-2 because u have a pair and maybe something else because your board is too weak to win and you don't wanna lose HP for free, that's how you go eigth.
Another way to spot you have a weak board and you need to stabalize on 3-2 is when you lose a lot of stage 2 due to RNG on your units or just simply not buying good units. In this case you econ so you can 3-2 it, roll till stable hit some upgrades, do not go true 0, try to stay over 20 then econ back up and resend on 4-2. You need to know how much to roll and when your board can win, it takes practice.
does anyone know what dish soap means when he says golden neeko?
Neeko is the old term for duplicators, so lesser neeko and golden neeko are referring to lesser duplicator and normal duplicator.
actually learning instead of tubers

im facing the problem after reaching masters i literally have a 6.x avg idk what happened but my mental just doesnt wanna go any higher after hitting...
then you should create a smurf account or play normal games, when you get on your avg again, switch to your rankeds on masters
its normal
ive been in this same situtation in previous sets, you hit masters and you start picking for fun augments/plays. You have to keep up the same mental you used when climbing to masters.
if you're already at 6.x its going to be even harder due to your hidden mmr. even you you climb up 100 lp, then get 1 8th, youre going back to 0 lp, which is extremely painful. you might want to just make another account and climb again or wait until next set
@@gustavohitomi1999 i got this bad mental that playing on a smurf or normals is a waste of time that i could use to play on main. Also playing in masters compared to smurf just doesnt feel right.feels like im just stalling myself from improving
@@Seras_Victoria279 100% don't listen to that guy. Not only is it a waste of time, it also makes you play worse. I play a lot of double up with my friend (like diamond double up elo), and when I go back to playing ranked (Masters 200lp), the first game always goes horribly because of how much faster the lobby tempo is, and how much better the players are.
PogO so lucky
My guy spend whole day playing aphilios when he was strong and talks about playing flexible 😂
Yeah but what if you roll 80 gold and still can't get the freaking Morgana?
collin from five guys?
Thats exactly what a highroller would say
LUCK = SKILL NOTED
What people call a “high roll” is actually something players will experience in most games. Those who disagree just haven’t had enough experience to take advantage of them
The common perception of TFT is so weird to me. TFT is the same as any other luck-based game. Poker is luck based, but you can still win (or at least minimize your losses) with a bad hand by making the most of it. It’s the exact same with TFT.
Dream also made a video to explain why he was so lucky during speedruns. That's a bit sus 🧐
The first 2 vods were so painful to watch
tempo too strong ever since they nerfed 1* rr, winstreaking gives too many options
bro is getting dissed by his own thumbnails
Setsuko clears you
he's rank 16 he clears himself 💀
You know that gnar player only got diamond from spamming gnar when he was OP lol... Wtf was that gameplay
first
gg
The vid title and answer to you all is get gud
Ok liss 2 on 7
Bro yapping
It’s hilarious that one of the examples is someone getting five items by the start of the second stage. How often does that happen. Maybe four but five? The game just gives the win to certain players while the rest of the players get nothing. Also this is bad advice because how often does planning to play certain units workout from that early in the game. The guy is like ok darius two now lets go vertical umbral or attack damage. No that is not how that works.
that diamond player is so dumb, hes just like me 😢
I don't think roll at 4-5 will work most of the game even u have high HP(it's high contest) but in this case that guy just fuking unlucky roll to zero without any kayn. If u wait for 4-5 this patch u cant get even ornn 1 or annie 1 broooooooo
If you wait for 4-5 and everyone else has Annie’s and ornns then isn’t it harder for you to hit Annie and ornn?
On the other hand it would be easier to see Kayns since other people don’t have them?
Lmao, it doesn't work like this. Tft can be so unfair. Untouched pool of 4 and 5 costs doesn't guarantee that you hit 1 copy of the unit even if you spend too much gold for it.
@@sagittariusa2145 so what u play if ur lobby play 3 ash 3 kaisa 1 gnar? u will go kayn without heavenly spat? or go fate syndra with ad item?
@@NitipumeSukchai No I wasn't talking about your specific game just in general, if you roll after other people roll and your target 4-cost isn't in the pool then you have a higher chance to hit, that's all.
damn how were the first 2 players anywhere over diamond lmao, these decisions were terrible by them
Dishsoap. My favourite kind of soap.
