Bandit’s 3-model line of 12” drum chippers is a true, triple threat, providing unmatched chipping power and a range of work saving features - at prices that make sense for any size business.
The triple threat lineup begins with the all new 12XC, the perfect solution for those seeking a compact yet (4400-4800lbs) fully capable chipper at an economical price. With gas and diesel engine options ranging from 49 to 74 HP, and a 20” diameter, 13” wide two knife chipper drum, the 12XC easily reduces brush, limbs, palm fronds and other tree debris. A single top feed wheel driven by a 32.3 CID hyrdraulic motor, and side mounted, adjustable tension springs make for easy feeding and significant brush crushing power. If more compressing power is desired, the 12XC can be ordered with a hydraulic lift cylinder capable of generating up to 2200 lbs of down pressure, greatly reducing the need to trim or reposition material.
Next in the lineup is the 12XPC. Driven by gas and diesel engine options ranging from 49-84HP, the 24” x 18/34”, 4-knife chipping drum turns slower and makes more cuts per revolution than competitive models, resulting in nearly effortless chipping in a wide variety of material. Outfitted with Bandit’s proven slide box feed system, Powerful dual feedwheels driven by high displacement hydraulic motors pull and compress even the most stubborn limbs and branches. A hydraulic lift cylinder can also be added to the 12XPC to further amplifying it’s crushing power.
Rounding out the triple threat lineup is the 12XP - Bandit’s most durable and productive 12” chipper. Featuring the same drum and feed system as the 12XPC, the 12XP pours on the power with engine options up to 145 HP. A limb crushing hydraulic lift cylinder comes standard, along with a larger axle and tires. A hydraulic winch option makes the 12XP even more productive, and a welded infeed pan with heavy duty rim can be ordered to increase durability when feeding with the winch or a mini skid steer.
All three 12” drum chipper models include as standard a wide profile 30 ¾” high x 54” wide fold down infeed hopper. Additionally, each model includes Bandit’s power slot - an opening located on the lower front side of the drum transition, engineered to increase airflow during chip discharge. The Bandit Power Slot maximizes chip throwing velocity, and provides a convenient access point to ease cleanup if the discharge becomes plugged.
To make your life easier, all three models include minimal electronic components and offer easy access to all regular maintenance items. To provide you peace of mind, all Bandit-manufactured components of the drums and feed systems are backed by a 5-year, 3000 hr GUTS warranty.
