Who gives af. He’s 7-1 when he finishes the game only losing to the 49ers. He was playing fine before getting hurt. It was 3-3 on the 1 inch line…the final was 24-10!!! Wtf are we talking about Kenny who left with 7 1/2 left in the 2nd!! Insane!
@@dolce1248 CJ Stroud, a rookie, playing for a team that had the number two overall pick last year has more TDs this season than Kenny does his entire career. Every coach Stroud has is also in their first year at their respective opinions.
He's the hometown kid so it really sucks to admit it, but he is simply not a starter in the National Football League. If you've come to any other conclusion after a substantial sample size, I'm sorry. You're lying to yourself.

Yes, I love this too!! He gaslights in every press conference, as he always has; and, not that relatively many have the guts to admit it, Tomlin isn’t just a problem they have, he IS and has been THE problem for close to 10 years and counting. At this point they simply deserve whatever is due them by keeping a clown for their 3-ring circus side show theatre.
It's insulting honestly. Browning out here dropping 30+. Purdy an MVP candidate. CJ Stroud might be the best player in the league this year. Hell even Flacco rolled out of bed at 38 and dropped like 300 and a couple scores yesterday. We can't have a 2 passing TD game ... Ever? Even by happenstance?
These times really make you miss having Big Ben. Even in his twilight, he would tank hits while avoiding injury and we could always count on him to be there. Just goes to show what having a franchise QB means not just for offensive production, but also the morale of the team. Big Ben off a 41-10 beat down, horrible offensive line, and worse weapons than we have today still dropped 236 yards and 2 tds with a game winning touchdown pass in the final two minutes against the 8-3 top seeded Baltimore Ravens. Even at our lowest point that year, he was there to lead us to an amazing win vs our fiercest rival with an inferior roster backing him up

This is now Tomlin's 20th loss to a team with 10+ losses in 16 12/17 seasons. It would be one thing if we lost to bad teams every few years, but this is an annual occurrence, at the least. This is the 2nd rookie coach this season that Tomlin has not only lost to, the opposing coach has coached circles around him. The game has evidently passed him by at this point, and I've long been on the fire Tomlin train, but this is even further justification. How much longer can this go on of us losing to inferior teams and getting blown out by elite teams? We're not getting any more competitive with Tomlin, this is the same team we've seen the last 3 years, not good, not bad, just plain mediocre
You old enough to be dad and still have no common sense or wisdom tomlin beat the best team in the afc team and 2nd best in the nfl and he has a win record so coaches have not been out coaching him if that was the case he would not have 170 wins and 2 superbowls if we were not competitive we would not have a playoff every hope like cowher did by having 4 losing seasons also we have the worst QB in the division and debatable whole afc

In the last 12 years, he has won a grand total of 3 playoff games (which is the same amount of times he’s been beaten by teams with worse records in the playoffs by the way). Those 3 wins were against an imploding Bengals team, the Dolphins on their backup QB, and the Chiefs with Alex Smith. Considering the talent on many of those Steelers teams, most coaches would’ve been fired by now, but not in Pittsburgh. We rode it out with Chuck Noll in the 80s when the game clearly passed him and we’ll be doing the same with Tomlin

Like you said, Tomlin seems like a great guy.And when the time comes it is going to be weird seeing someone else lead the Steelers. But it is time to admit that Tomlin was the beneficiary of inheriting one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time and still really wasn’t *that* successful. Unless Kenny somehow becomes the second coming of Brady, this team will go nowhere for a very long time under Tomlin. And we now either need to accept its time to move on from pretty much the whole coaching staff or that they’re going to be a bottom tier bum franchise until the next handful in a generation QB somehow ends up here.

I think Kenny will be the guy to get us to 7 but the play calling and receiving corps need to step up big time. Pickens is a terrible route runner and Johnson still drops balls at the most critical times.

21-16-1 now vs any team that arrives to gameday with an under .200 winning % after week 1. While that does include some early season 0-1 opponents, it shouldn't be that close for the amount of talent Tomlin has had on his roster throughout various points in his career. Now we have Warren saying there "could be" an issue with the prep for this game? Seriously? Canada has already gone, now get rid of another third of the problem, the final third is this terrible experiment that will be sidelined with an ankle injury. I never wanted him for a reason, at least the rest of yinz are catching up.

Deep down, I knew this would happen. I didn’t expect it to be THAT ugly. But I knew we would lose. That didn’t stop me from having hope that maybe for the first time in forever we could be a team that we SHOULD beat, though. And now I am just depressed. Not even just at the fact we lost, but the fact everyone got hurt in the process is what makes it so bad. If we lost but were healthy, I’d feel ok. But this? This is tragic. I’m honestly terrified we will lose to New England, and I genuinely can’t take that for my sanity. I turned the SNR broadcast off before the game even ended, this was a top 5 worst game for Mike Tomlin imo. He’s a great coach, but games like this happening every single year just really make me question, like. Why? How? It doesn’t make any sense to me, and I don’t think the Steelers or Tomlin have an answer, either. A big reason for the lack of success come playoff time imo. Until games like THIS stop happening, I unfortunately don’t know if we can ever be a serious, legit contender. Which is painful, but. SteelersNation forever🥲

Mason snapped terrible from the start so its all on him because what motivation they did have didnt work out becuase of all the extra time it took to take a snap. One second means allot in the pocket and Kenny throws great when not being chased 😊

I'm with you on Kenny in the business zone. Seems like when the field gets smaller he can't speed up his reads and if the first, maybe second option isn't there, it's over. What's the point of CA3 in motion if you're not even going to take a glance over there? The play was smart, the execution was awful. Against the Jags he throws late to DJ too and misses an easy one that changes that game completely. He's a great dude but I just don't think he's him without that ability to convert in the red zone. I think it's time to consider moving on from Mike T. Much as I love the dude, it's run its course and we could probably trade him for a nice return in draft capital to set up a proper honest-to-god rebuild instead of this sheepish "reload".

It doesn't matter even if you had a young Peyton Manning under center, this offense just simply doesn't work. Getting rid of Canada was a "too little, too late" measure. God only knows if Kenny will be good for anything next year, and they're not going to have a high enough draft pick to get a QB in the early rounds.
Plus, we don't know what kind of clown they're going to hire at OC over the offseason. Every OC since BA was gradually worse than the one before, and I worry that the trend will continue. 😭

Multiple people who break down tape for a living have discussed the play that Kenny got hurt on. Calvin Austin wasn’t open, that’s a rub route against zone, you don’t throw rub routes against zone unless you’re Nostradamus and knew that the CB was gonna blow his assignment. Kenny made the right choice, it sucks he got hurt…don’t believe me? Like I said, I know Atleast 5 people smarter than me who have broke that play down in depth. Blame Tomlin for the shit show yesterday….

I think they could take Ben out of his beer drinking podcast and throw him on the field tomorrow and he would be better than what we've had for the last 2 years. And I believe that it was Ben's unbelievable ability that made Tomlin look way better than he is or will be. It's time to get rid of tomlin. Cut the head off the snake and try to fix everything from their down. We need a new coach, we need a new offensive coordinator, we need a new quarterback. We absolutely need a new center. This is just bad all around. If our defense wasn't so freaking amazing. And every one of them is now injured because of it.. we would not have won any games. And I hate to say it but it looks like even TJ watt is ready to leave this team. And why wouldn't he? He wants to win a Super Bowl while he's still in his prime.
