    The British not wanting George bar was because George was actually a turncoat, he was a ranked officer in the British army leading the red coats but once he saw how the colonialists reacted to the British (re-occupation) and their unwavering dedication to being free from the Kings rule he desided to join the fight against the British army and help to establish America as its own independent country

    William Wallace was tortured to death. Emasculated (genitals removed entirely), eviscerated (guts opened & pulled out), drawn & quartered (limbs tied to 4 horses, lines pulled tight, then made to run, ripping them off the body), & finally beheaded before he could bleed out.
    Dude was cursing the King with every last breath he had.

    • @Oduunich
      @Oduunich 2 года назад

      Also, while commonly believed that George Washington had wooden or sheep's teeth, & may have had those at points, they were temporary. His teeth that he is usually pictured with were slaves' that had been removed & made into dentures.

  • @patrioticjustice9040
    @patrioticjustice9040 2 года назад +1

    I loved this rap, but I do want to say this on behalf of history; Washington wasn't really the slave owner that people paint him out to be. He was a supporter of the Gradual Abolition Act of 1780 (yes, people have been fighting for that long to end slavery in America) and before his death, one of his final acts was to officially declare freedom for the slaves in his household.
    And to answer your question regarding crossing the Delaware, I'm not sure if it was a matter of not swimming. It was Christmas when Washington crossed the Delaware up in Pennsylvania, which means it was in the thick of winter. Nobody wants to swim in freezing cold water in the water. Washington was also carrying field cannons to attack Trenton, and those had to be transported by boat. Soldiers also had to be careful crossing rivers because if the gunpowder in their horns or muskets got wet, it'd be useless.

    Hung drawn and quartered, they hung him, gutted him and separated his body into quarters after cutting his “bits” off. They buried them in different areas of the UK, His head was spiked on London Bridge, and the four quarters of his mutilated body displayed in Newcastle (My hometown), Berwick, Perth and Stirling. Absolutely brutal.

    The battle of Trenton was a Christmas Eve surprise attack. Washington correctly assumed, not really though, he knew; through his network of spies, which was extensive that the Hessians were held up at Trenton. Because, this is no joke, their commander had gotten thirsty. Not this kind of thirsty 💧 the other kind. To my knowledge it wasn’t a rough crossing, and I don’t even know if any soldiers that drowned. What was more likely is they may have gotten wet and died of hypothermia however even those losses were not significant enough to have been reported in Washington’s journal. Washington’s attack was a success and after the arrival of a Prussian sent by Ben Franklin The army emerged out of Valley Forge Inn fucking forced to be reckoned with. You’ve got to think before Prussian officer arrived to give Washington’s soldiers a proper military training; they were just farmhands, peasants, commoners, tradesmen with no military training whatsoever, and there were zero military academies here. So leaders effective leaders were in short supply and Washington wasn’t the best of them and neither was Gates. That’s partially why Washington was the leader. Washington had one great characteristic when it comes to leading mean he had an extraordinary ability to listen to advice and take it when it was better than the idea he proposed and he did this a lot. The crossing at the Delaware wasn’t even his plan it was a junior officers. (I think it was Hamilton’s idea but I might be wrong about that) These your soldiers can’t swim is probably reference to a colloquial term used for sperm swimming and them being referred to as soldiers. Furthermore the line claiming that Washington will start more Scotts than Hadrian’s Wall is miss nomenclature. Technically there won’t even be Scott’s in the area of Scotland for 1k more years. Also there were actually two walls Hadrian’s Wall and then another wall that was built further north however this second wall known as the Antonine Wall was harder to construct and maintain in a hostile territory. Which northern Britain definitely was. Consequently this wall was abandoned in favor of the much more sturdy and garrisoned southern wall built by under Hadrian.

    crossing the delaware and the ''your soldiers can't swim'' is indeed a double if not a tripple meaning if i remember correct when Washingston and his soldiers crossed the delaware which was filled with large chonks of ice which not only blocked boats access to the coast but some of the boats got stuck in the ice or even capsized and many of the soldiers back then could not swim and with the ice cold water, the soldiers quickly found themselves sinking to the ice cold bottom due to no swimming skills and because of their cloths made them extra heavy. But yes he did win that battle, but generally Washingtons career as a general and leader in the military was not that impressive, he won some battles but most of them was when he was leading a surprise attack against unprepared enemies, in his first ''real'' major battle on an open field he was easily and brutally defeated, which also showed a sign that Washington was not that great a leader or general, and mostly had success when he was leading ambushes and not open battlefields.

    Washington and his men crossed the Delaware in the middle of the night, on Christmas mind you, and cut the throats of all the sleeping soldiers. Yeah, it was a huge success. He barred about it in his first round and yeah it was a blood bath. So the line about him crossing the Delaware but his soldiers not being able to swim was a very clever jab at his inadequacies at being a man, despite him being a brilliant and ruthless tactician with balls of steel.

    At the time Washington crossed the Delaware river it had large chunks of ice in it. The little ice age was still going on. It would have induced fatal hypothermia to have tried to swim across the river.
    Washington had a nearly fatal case of mumps in his mid teens. He was probably sterile.
    Although Washington publicly stated slavery was bad, had to go, and black folks had to have full citizenship, he was known to be a "bad" slave owner by the standards of the time. He speculated that both Native Americans and African Americans would sit in congress and even be president in the future. But he was a slave owner. Note: Although he wanted to free the slaves of his plantation in his will, as they weren't owned by him (they were owned by the estate of Martha's first husband) so he could only ask that they be freed.

      Nah, only 9 of them (we know he paid for at least that many), in one of his sets of dentures (he had at least 4 sets). Some of the teeth in that set of dentures were his own, which he had kept after they were pulled. Plus, he _paid_ for the teeth (not like the slaves would've really been able to say "no"). It doesn't make it more excusable; I'm only saying he didn't just walk up and yank them out of the slaves' mouths. Selling teeth was common among the poor back then, for implants or dentures by those who could afford them. But yes, some of his dentures _did_ use sheep's teeth (and cow and horse teeth).

    • @SpearM3064
      @SpearM3064 2 года назад +1

      Sadly, the "wooden teeth" is a myth. Some of his dentures appeared wooden at a distance after they stained (ivory stains really easily), but during his lifetime he employed dentures made of different materials. Sheep, cow and horse teeth, ivory (possibly hippopotamus or elephant), lead-tin alloy, copper alloy (possibly brass), and silver alloy, to name a few. And, yes, human teeth... including some slave's teeth (which he paid for, btw) and a few of his own teeth that he saved after being pulled. He was actually very conscientious about his dental care, but lost his first tooth at 24 and only had one tooth left by the time he took office. It's likely that his teeth were damaged by the use of a mineral called calomel to treat smallpox (calomel can be used as a laxative and a disinfectant, and was used to treat smallpox and yellow fever. The problem? Repeated use caused teeth and hair to fall out.)

    Most of Wallace's bars are actually garbage. I'm you're daddy? What, is he a 5th grader? It doesn't have any context whatsoever, it's a meaningless schoolyard insult. Might as well tell him "I'm rubber and you're glue." Everything Washington said had meaning, Wallace was 50% generic garbage. It wasn't even close, Washington savaged Wallace.

      I agree. I've always wanted to put words to why I think Wallace lost that would make sense to others and now I've found them.

      It's a play on the term "Founding Father", which is what George Washington and a handful of others are called. It had plenty of context.

      Completely agree here.
      most of wallace's lines were either incorrect or just conjecture. "Even the british didnt want him" is exceptionally misleading. he was given the rank of "Colonel of the Virginia Regiment and Commander in Chief of all forces now raised in the defense of His Majesty's Colony". Despite being unable to become an official redcoat due to him being a "Colonial" which wasnt a specific stab at him, but against policy.
      The next big line being "Whipped all of those out of slave black folks" which again, is incorrect. While washington owned 123 slaves, only 26 of them were black. The rest were of 'white' descent and almost never whipped, one of the black slaves even indicating that they hadnt been wipped in over 14 years.
      The rest of the jokes were just 'fight me bro' or dick-jokes.
      This was a very one-sided battle and not in the way this reactor thinks it is lol.
