+JJ Parker Which "english" website do you mean? RUclips speaks Czech (or German) for me :-). CAD Studio is a Czech company so most of our videos are commented in Czech.
This method uses external tools so you will need the source points, not only the indexed point file attached to your DWG. If you have real point objects inside DWG, they can be exported to the neccessary XYZ file (e.g. with the DATAEXTRACTION command)

That's right - such file (X,Y,Z) can be loaded into the modeling tools as a "point cloud".
