One thing everyone kept saying is that Mick is a great, true, humble guy, l'm really happy to have gotten to see this story unfold, theres many top level sports people around the globe doing their thing but, ONE thing I will always remember is how he handled being beaten in the final at Bells, he and Italo huged each other with sincerity and Mick went on to say it ment so much to Italo and he will remember that moment as one of the greatest things he has seen at Bells, what a true sports person he is, I will miss watching those carves, safe trails Mr MEF your a legend mate !!!!!!!! We've some legend surfers in Australia with Tommy Carrol, Ocky & Burrell but I will never forget the dude that punched a fucking shark in a competition amd came back a year later to compete again...I wouldn't have even gone back into the water. Dead set legend!
