do you find it conceals dark circles well? I remember buying this like 2-3 years ago and I found it wasn't super high coverage but I do remember the shade was wrong for me, the shades ran a bit darker.
@@angelicascarlett4176 yes. They reformulated about 2 years ago? Personally I was happy with both original and new. Maybe they extended the shade range with the reformulation?
@@angelicascarlett4176 I have two shades of this concealer. I have a shade that’s slightly darker than my skin and it’s great at covering my dark circles. Then the lighter shade brightens my under eyes.
I have 56 years and mature skin and the Hous Labs is a wonderful concealer. So smooth and skin like, last all day and doesn’t crease. Highly recommend!
I’ve found that at my age (52), I REALLY had to increase my hydration under my eyes to help with the crepey skin. The Versed Retinoid balm has really helped.
A really great video about concealers, Morgan! The nitty gritty for the undereyes. Thank you for subjecting your eyes to all these applications. It really helps to see how they look on the undereyes. I like that you separated these into various categories. It also helped that you explained that eyes will crease no matter what. Sometimes it helps to hear this tough love. As you say, preparation of the eye area is a needed component. Excellent explanations for each one. Thanks.
Thanks Morgan, we need more videos like this! I've tried a zillion concealers for my mature, dehydrated under-eye skin with fine lines...including several you mentioned. I'm not really a Tarte customer but their new Creaseless Creamy concealer is the best I've found, surprisingly. It sets without being drying and looks fresher and more natural on me than the N. Denona (which accentuated my lines.) A definite re-purchase!
The NYX serum concealer is beautiful for a drug store but it definitely has to be set with powder because it's so hydrating but it lasts all day. Also even though it isn't drugstore Tarte has Shape tape Creamy concealer and the new creasless creamy concealer (make sure you get the creamy ones) go on sale all the time and they are great. And I don't mean like the stupid Sephora sale where you only get 10% off they do 30 to 50% all the time. I just got one for $14 and it lasts forever. I can't ever pay full price so I always look for sales
Gosh Morgan, you work so hard pumping out these videos! They are always what im looking for as well! I was excited to hear the fenty eye brightener was $28 ....then i remembered im in canada. 😅 its $38 here😢
Awesome review, thank you!!! Really appreciate all the demos while you described each one. And love how you film super closeup with great lighting so we can actually see how each one looks
I bought the Natasha Denona Hy-Glam after you recommended it, and it has been by far the least creasing concealer I've used. Thank you, it changed my daily makeup game for the better! ❤❤
My favourite concealer combo right now is a little bit of hourglass (for the coverage) then a little bit of the luminous MAC concealer, set with hourglass’s powder 👍
i got a haus labs concealer sample from sephora not long ago and i totally LOVE it, i got two shades for mix and play but its definitely my current favourite. the gucci concealer sounds interesting! - i definitely never used a "cream to powder" concealer before, i might try this next sale!
Hayley’s look best on u if u only want concealer it matches u really well it’s only a tad lighter then ur skin to make it brighten the under eye just a little it’s honestly a perfect match and perfect for no makeup days bc I only want concealer blush mascara
Awesome review ❤ like always. I want to try the DM yummy skin concealer, Haley’s Beauty and the Urban Decay. I have very dry sensitive skin and my favorite concealers are the Kulfi concealer, Natasha Denona Hy-glam, MAC Luminous concealer and Maybelline Fit me for drugstore. I use and love the Natasha Denona and Kulfi concealer a lot this year that I just repurchased during the Sephora sale. I took both concealers to my trip to Mexico and they worked great.
i wanted so badly to be able to get the tower 28 concealer because i really liked the finish and how it can be used all over the face but i just couldn’t find a shade match. i’ve found it really hard to find shade ranges with actually neutral shades, almost everything i see is too yellow, orange, or pink :/ i just got the glossier stretch concealer and am loving it!! it’s the first shade range ive found in a while that has even close to a potential match for me . hopefully tower 28 expands their shade range soon!
I’m 26, normal-to-dry skin type. I’ve tried so many concealers and some of the ones mentioned in this video so I thought I’d share my experience with some of them. The ND concealer was unfortunately too creasy on my undereyes, but I really like the coverage and the creamy texture. The mac one was too drying and emphasized texture (tbf I think I got the wrong shade). But the Tower 28 one omg girlies don’t sleep on it!! it is the smoothest concealer I’ve ever tried! non drying, beautiful even medium/full coverage, minimal creasing and lasts the whole day if you set it. The best, hands down.
My top two favorite concealers for my super dry under eyes is the Natasha Denona High Glam and the One Size Butter Silk concealer. The One Size is soooo incredibly hydrating, I do need to set it and blend out the creases, but once set it does not budge and looks flawless and not dry at all. Not enough people talk about this one!
I have been using the Natasha denona concealer since it came out but recently tried the Gucci concealer. Game changer. I’ve never had a concealer that worked so well with my skin.
I'm 36 yrs young and have a few lines under my eyes. I've used the abh magic touch, waiting to purchase the natasha denona one during the black Friday sale.
I tried so many concealers and bought at least 4 over the last year and the haus labs is the only one that works. I don’t have to set it either. Zero creasing!
Hi gorgeous, I have a few featured here. I personally experienced heavy creasing with tower 28 and the danessa myricks. Those two are crease central on me😂 However, the BareMinerals and Haus Labs are great on me. My favourite ones are the Lawless, Natasha Denona, laura mercier concealer! 😊
I have noticed that when the shade is way too light, it will make my under eyes look super crepey. I was blaming the concealer and formula for making my skin look like death. Brightening is one thing, but I took it over the edge.
I’m 50 with really dry skin and for consealer I use, Sephora best ever, ND, givenchy, and the Dior forever and , haus labs,I have no issues with creaping under the eyes
The Mac and glossier are my favorites. I tried Natasha Denona and I liked it but the shade match is confusing. I have an olive undertone and I tried a neutral rosy it left a gray cast. I want to try Danessa but I had to return the groundwork’s palette because it irritated my eyes. I’m hesitant to try her concealer because of this. Tfs
Great video… thank you! I’m going to try the Kulfi concealer. I’m currently using Westman Atelier and the MAC… I like both of them on my mature undereyes
Also, at one point I stopped using the Pat McGrath labs concealer because I swear they changed the formula. I have another new one, and why low-key I feel like they changed it back? The formula is even better now. 😅
I am wondering if I got a dud Natasha Denona concealer. It is dry and cakey on my under eyes and I don't have that issue with most concealers under my eyes. My favorite by far is Tower 28.
I have dry skin and dry under eyes, and my faves are the Natasha denona Hyglam, Dior Forever, Huda faux filter, pat mc grath and ABH so far. The Tower 28, Haus labs and Fenty hydrating concealer are on my to try list. I disliked the urban decay one, that was very dry, creppy and creasy on me, could not get it to work to the point that I had to just bin it.

@@Sandycvgx It definitely sounds like you're doing the right things! You could always try the 7 Skins method for your under eyes to avoid trans epidermal water loss, especially around winter time when the air is much drier. My under eyes are decently dry and if I use too heavy of moisturizers, it will crease terribly because they're emollient. I have only started recently layering a lightweight essence multiple times before adding a moisturizer to lock in the moisture. You could also try putting something super occlusive over your moisturizer at night to trap the moisture. This doesn't work for me because I am prone to milia. I'm sure it doesn't look as bad as you think. We are our own worst critic.
@@StefanieMorgan-b3r aw thank you for your advice, I'll definitely try that ♥️ I use a gel cream, almost like a serum, it's really thin, and then I apply a more nourishing one, it helps a lot and makes me crease less 😊 I'll try the method you suggested, thank you so much
