Welcome and thank you for watching this flight review. It's the pilot episode of my first YT-Series "Cinematic Flight Reports". A lot of time and planning went into this and I am happy to share my experience aboard SQ317 from LHR to SIN, which as of today is the longest flight that you can book if you want to be seated in their latest and most luxurious first class cabin.

i have to say....as a person who travels quite alot,i still say Singapore Airlines is still my favourite airline
Emirates to much bling,Eithad tries hard to keep up with Singapore Airlines,but they still have that edge

Marcel we have been to Singapore a few times and our first flight was with Singapore Airlines Business Class the service was incredible but seeing the first class has made us very envious

Oh what a lovely treat! I flew SQ317 LHR - SIN in August 2019 in Business Class and it remains (espec with subsequent restrictions) one of the best days of my life - I also had the lobster thermidor through book the cook, served with chablis. The difference between business and first class is obvious - the room and bed - but honestly, the Business Class offering is so amazing that it'd be hard to justify the price differential. I'll be looking forward to the next vlog!

Thank you for sharing your trip here. Walking in downtown London is nice. Walking along the River Thames is so nice. Your seat in First Class is nice. When on of the Flight Attendants came into your suite to make your bed was nice. Your Singapore hotel view of the beautiful three buildings of the Marina Bay Sands is so beautiful!!😊😊

I find a very special vibe from your flight experience videos among many similar flight videos. I like the pace, the the collab between the BGM, the narrative and the visual slow motion details. I have been watching travel videos for a while now but I have never seen anyone show the meals like the Michelin Star quality many of these are, most just say it tasted like this but never really SHOWED how amazing they are out of an airplane, I will never be able to experience this but this video has gotten me closer to it then ever before, you have a new super fan, LOL

I'm a doc filmmaker. So I guess I know what I'm looking at. So well done. Lazy susan for the meals? great idea. Were you with a second camera for shots of you in your seat? Seems like you had a slider on a tripod or maybe it was the same device that you used as the lazy susan? Would love to know.
Very well done and good luck with your channel. I have seen quite a few first class flight reviews but still have not seen a critical feature for my own total enjoyment in flight although honestly speaking I would never be able to afford a long haul flight like this now that I am retired. When I was working I travelled business often and once upgraded to first class on a very long haul flight. Anyway... I am a person who if sitting in a chair that does not rock I am in a state of stress. I would love to see that beautiful seat with a switch that allows it to rock lazy-boy-style.

Thank you for this review, you put in so much effort. Don't understand SQ serving fruit after a large meal. Understand it adds a course to the menu and creates a sense of abundance, but who could eat it after all that food. Oh and yeah, green banana anyone? Who eats whole strawberries with cutlery? I think you've gained weight compared to videos on your old channel.
We do it in Singapore. Fruit is often served at the end of multi-course meals in restaurants.

How do you rate this product compared to Eithads the apartment?
SQ’s Suite is a unique product. Great food and cellar and a good bed. Yet, it does not utilize the available space efficiently and has minor flaws. Personally, I rate Etihad’s First Apartment way higher, as I love the additional shower option and find both the seat and bed more comfortable and practical.

Great video....but I've never seen the point of cutting small pieces of fruit with a knife n fork. Must be a British thing lol I've even seen people cut pizza with a fork & knife 🤣🤣. I'm from NY so....

The footage around 3:00 is not cinematic at all - I was curious how you would make the check in/immigration shots “cinematic “ but clearly you didn’t succeed here. A true cinematic view will have no blocking of faces n no selfies. The London city opening scene also have no relationship to this videos main story. I might sound a bit critical but I think it would have been much better if you had not emphasised so much about the “cinematic “ element in your video. In the end those watching this kind of materials care most about the review itself. See how Sam Chui became so successful!
