After experiencing 1.5, I’m now more interested in learning who Mr. Qi really is. He’s clearly no ordinary person and there’s a ton of mystery behind him and his intentions. He’s also able to break the fourth wall which no character in the game has ever done.
The cutscene is kind of amazing. Listing every mob, animal, person and everything in between! (Rip brown cow.) I’m not finished and not super close to perfection but this made me a little teary because how beautiful the game really is. Such a great game and hopefully 1.6 will ad more. Eric your a great dev and you are a great youtuber.

So it’s possible that there could be another update, but regardless, Eric Barone is one of my greatest inspirations and he’s given all of us more than we deserve for a mere $15. I hope that whatever he does next brings him nothing but joy.
Funny little detail the "neighbors" in the credits are walking in aphabetical order. the only odd one being Willy. The reason he walks behind Demetrius is that Willy was named Dick in early development and his file probably still reflects that. Yes his name was Dick and is Willy now. >_>
Right there with you lol. I am on like my sixth playthrough, and the furthest i ever got was early winter of year 2. lol. Once you get most of the buildings/upgrades, complete the community center and the movie theater, the game becomes somewhat monotonous. But that is just me. And the journey is still fun lol. Especially with the new Fern island and the remixed community center bundles.
I’ve been playing this game since it’s launch on Xbox. Even if it does have an “ending” I’ll always keep playing. Can’t wait to see Concerned Ape’s next projects!
He did say he was working on a game that was in the same universe as Stardew Valley. I personally want to see him expand on the different locations outside of Pelican Town

Maybe I'm showing my age here but I just searched the comments and I don't see any mention of the fact that this ending is an EPIC homage to one of the greatest game ending sequences of all time, from Super Marip RPG. I'm 90% sure the twinkly music that's playing when grandpa and Mr Qi show up after the parade closely mimics the music that plays when the Mario RPG character Geno peaces out. Yet another heartstrings-tugging reference to a beloved video game of my youth (I see you there, Chrono on Abigail's wall). Stardew is really the best.

I do hope we get a 1.6 though... Ik they added a 100% reward. But, they could just make it post game. where the summit maybe could have a secret passage added, where it could lead to a new area. Or maybe some more islands. Some games have more than 100% They could even make it not require 100% but just have 100% be an option to get it earlier in the game. And they could add like maybe a 102% etc... Its the end, but I just dont hope it will truly be the whole end. They could also just make it so the progress bar when it gets to 100% just resets and gets a new oist of objectives, and it just gets a new tab for that, so you just move on to basicly a new chapter

Pretty sure this is not the ending yet, there's an item named "Warp Totem : Qi Arena" it has no sprite and can't be used. I think the item may be a hint for the next update.

yes it’s little bit useless, but I can still play and for example I haven’t uprage all of the weapons and tool, so I can use a few prismathic shards
It's more of a completionist thing that something that't meant to be used, lol. A rare collectable, for 100% completing the game. Think of it as a trophy, rather than a machine that's meant to do stuff
