But its true that western people are more scientific minded.
Unless bad thought does not comes into execution the punishment is less, thought is also one type of karma, what Gurpreet said is right, so if you keep thinking something bad than never speak up to other so they listen and execute, than you and you only will be responsible for the karma of that bad thought, according Santana religion if person keep doing manan of that thought than it is possible it comes into kriyaman( means come into execution ), also remember thought travels so to stop doing manan is also important otherwise where situations are right it will execute itself.
