  • In this episode, we install a new Prinsu Roof Rack on our overland rig Loki. The issue we currently have is that our storage setup for Overlanding is required to fit in the bed of the truck under the DiamondBack Cover. Though this is an excellent storage setup that stays clean, dry, and is lockable, it is quickly filled up and leaves us packing other trip-specific gear in with the girls in the back seat. The Prinsu roof rack will allow us to change up some of the bulky essential equipment that we carry in the bed to some mountable options that can be stored on the roof rack. In this installation of the Prinsu roof rack on our 2nd gen Tacoma, we will take you through our installation process and share our experience with you.

I’ve been looking for a set of light mounts like that that mount to the existing holes vs the door jams. What are the chances you’d want to sell those brackets that you took off and if not where did you find them?

Unfortunately we do not still have the brackets we had on previously, but they were brackets from n-fab! Hope this helps. Here is a link to their website n-fab.com

I just had our old 2009 completely painted in the original color due to Toyota's infamous piss poor clear coat. Came out really good. I have to wait another week or so for the paint to completely dry before I can put the cargo rack and other accessories on.

Nice detailed video, waiting on my Prinsu to arrive, I didn’t buy the Prinsu lights because of the $600 plus price, may I know which brand you used and how much did it cost. Also how the wind noise with the Prinsu rack on the truck? TIA
