Please note the information given in the video about the setup cost is not correct. 1. Setup Cost is way higher, extruder cost starts from 7-8 lakhs and goes up to crores depending on the film size and number of layers(types of extrusions). 2. You need to have printing and cutting machines accordingly Printing machine can be either Roto-gravure or Flexo Graphic, cost depends on number of colors. Range again starts from 7-8 lakhs and goes to crores and cutting machines cost adds to as now adays servo machines are considered which costs around 4 lakhs 3. You need to have Cipet licence cost 4 lakhs. Cpcc and state licences costs extra 4. Most important you don't add PE and Starch, this information is absolutely wrong. Compostable Bags are manufactured from PLA/PHA granules which costs around 260-280/kg. Around 4 times higher than normal plastic. Currently i personally don't think there is much scope for this until and unless there is complete ban on plastic. As in India we can use plastic above 50 microns. I think there is more scope in plastic waste management rather than manufacturing compostable plastic.

Kindly stop making this kind video to fool people. I help a friend of mine in Meghalaya, India, The cost for setting up this plant is 1.8 crore. And for the product it its cost less than 460 per kg, that's means that is not 100% compostable, these bags made in the video after testing, the result indicated as plastic compound mixture was contained.
