You should shred the cucumber for the tzatziki sauce and squeeze it to remove the extra water and then add it to the yogurt

Luna is so cute, she reminds me of my cat Butler. He preferred to be called Butts! I miss that goofy guy. He was an inside/outside cat, I'm sure the neighbors were wondering why I was hollering out " come on Butts!" Love and hugs from Texas 💕

It's definitely worth taking the time to put the cucumber in cheesecloth to squeeze out the water before adding it to your sauce. Better to shred the cucumber too.

    Tips for the snickers dates:
    1. Use chopped peanuts instead of pecans for a more authentic snickers taste.
    2. Yes to the sea salt while still "wet."
    3. To cut down on calories (if you're interested) drizzle with desired amount of chocolate instead of covering the whole thing.
    4. Freezing isn't needed. The fridge will set them just fine.
Now I want snickers dates! 😁

My grandmother at Christmas every year would make a ton of candy and cookies. One of the things she would make was with pitted dates. She would put a whole pecan piece and a mini marshmallow in the date and roll them in granulated sugar. They are so good and the only way I can tolerate marshmallows.

Hold on to your hat... it's a long one 😂
    Good Morning Hamm Family ❤️
I pray you are all well. It's a chilly, rainy, windy 41°F here in Virginia... All is good 🌧️
When it comes to filling, refilling and topping off containers you are just like me, "can I make it all fit? You betcha" 😁
That cashew, coconut and chocolate looks yummy. Like you mentioned, the better the chocolate the better the treat. I'd add a little flakey sea salt before chilling. Perhaps experiment with some caramel drizzle, another nut or mixture of nuts. Oooh... marshmallow creme. Mmmm 😋
I'm still out on the date-chocolate treat. Looks yummy. Flakey sea salt is a must. I love dates, but usually on their own, chopped up in homemade granola, cookies, etc. My favs are:
Stuff the date with a walnut piece and unsweetened coconut flakes, or roll it in sweetened coconut flakes; drizzle with some sweetened condensed milk or honey 🍯
Stuff the date with a slice of brie and a walnut or pecan 🧀
    Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Dates Recipe 🥓 NatashasKitchen.com natashaskitchen.com/stuffed-dates/
The cats and Maggie have been going nuts due to all the birds, deer, bunnies and groundhogs flitting about 🐦🦌🐇🐿️
That shredded moose roast looks and sounds amazing. Homemade BBQ sauce is the best. I wonder if I could tweak it with chicken or turkey. I'd love as is, but Mark has the Alpha-gal allergy caused by the Lone Star Tick. No mammals for him without benedryl, or worse, an epi-pen 😕
You got me hooked on the True Lemon crystals. I like the Lime and Orange too. I can't do the others because of the stevia. My body, no like. Where'd you get the bottle? Wally World has a 10.6oz bottle for $19.49... is that a good deal? 🍋
I would very much appreciate some This Alaska Life or Alaska Boys Jerky. Just me recommending merchandising ideas. Recipe, so I can tweak it... please 😉
Nice to see your Mark in the kitchen. I don't let my Mark near the kitchen unless he's doing dishes, clean up, getting something out of reach for me, unloading the oven or picking up or dropping off stuff for or from the grill. Before he retired, he was the official dish washer at the Fire House 😏
Everett, the little grits monster, covered in chocolate was just too cute 🥰
That popsicle maker and recipe guide looks like fun. Yummy flavors. You go Bennett 🍍
Those cards from my fellow Floridian are beautiful. I grew up in JAX (Jacksonville), Orlando/Kissimmee and my parents had lake property in Hawthorne, complete with our own gator, Albert. I've tried and enjoyed the chocolate gators, key lime jelly, and the Everglades Fish Seasoning (yum). If you can't get homemade, Lorna Doons are a good shortbread substitute. Dakota and Ash love those squeeze ups: Dakota is bowl only, but Ash will take it anyway he can get it 😸
Glad you found a delicious Tzatziki Sauce. I love it with Gyros and Falafels. My favorite non-traditional (due to Mark's allergy) gyro and falafel recipes are below:
    www.recipetineats.com/greek-chicken-gyros-with-tzatziki/#wprm-recipe-container-21826
    www.indianhealthyrecipes.com/falafel-recipe-chickpea-falafel/
Enjoy the reminder of your weekend and I pray the week ahead is filled with wonderful new adventures and memories. Yah's Blessings ❤️

I love when Mark pulls out the Jerky Cannon, that name cracks me up every time. But nothing is funnier when Mark Loads it up to Launch. I have a Feeling Everett is going to take over that job one day. This is definitely a Hamm Favorite. It is such a treat. I bet it tastes good on a fishing trip or any ol' time.
And Boy, Hunter looked so swank in his suit. He just had his Birthday, how old is he now?
The Gyros meal looked so good. I am surprised you haven't made Gyros Breakfast Burritos. Gyros Meat and eggs is so yummy. Anyone from Greece know of a good rub recipe for meat if you cook it yourself?
It was good to see All the Boys in Action. It seems like it has been a while since we seen them. But when you cook, they are sure to be surrounding Mom. Everything looked so good.
    Happy Happy Sunday!!

You MUST try pudding in the popsicle maker!! Not sure if anyone remembers the Jell-O pudding pops from years ago! I know not the healthiest but fun on occasion. After a lot of trial and error we found that canned or the refrigerated tubs of pudding worked the best. The box stuff wasn't horrible just not as creamy. Lots of ice crystals. Apple juice pops were a good one too. Tried apple sauce mixed with the juice once...not a good one...LOL! A friend of mine said her kids loves Jell-O (any flavor) with grapes in it.

Better fresh. Doesn't take that long to make. Has anyone used roasted garlic instead of fresh chopped?

Googled it as I’ve been confused….”If you’re ordering a gyro for lunch, you pronounce it yee-roh or zhihr-oh.”

Do you have your own cookbook? I don’t know what moose meat or some of the fish you catch taste like but everything looks so delicious and I wouldn’t mind seeing some of your recipes so maybe I could fix them up with the chicken or beef are we even have a bison here.
You and your family have a fantastic Sunday ❤

Love the way you tried to say worcestershire sauce, those in the UK and we here in NZ just say Wuster sha sauce It's pronounced Worstersha instead of saying all of it...weird but true. Next time try grating the Cucumber on a box grater if you have one, it's much easier that chopping them up. 😀 the gyros looked awesome.
