👋Hi there Reelblack One! Here's wishing you & all your viewers a safe & wonderful NY! it's great to be back & to start checking out all of your videos. Here's another awesome video, as always! Thanks for sharing & i send my best wishes to all. Peace
Shopping for music.. Mike, what memories!!! I remember when I began buying albums around age 11 or 12. We had a few record stores within walking distance from where I grew up. Your friends see you walking home with the square brown bag, they all come running to see what you got. Then I'd take it in and give it a spin on my parent's floor model Zenith combination (that's a giant wood cabinet HiFi stereo that almost resembles a casket for any readers too young to have experienced the "wonderful" sound quality). Some were so huge and heavy, garbage trucks wouldn't take them. Long after the record player, 8 track, and AM radio no longer worked, they became permanent pieces of stagnant furniture, often left behind when people moved out.. a "gift" for the new home buyer. When my Grandfather passed in the 70s, I found his old 78 JAZZ collection up in the attic: COUNT, DUKE, ELLA, ARMSTRONG, REECE, VAUGHN, BOSTIC, CALLAWAY, you name it! Finding his collection, and seeing what my Grandparents loved, made me realize as a young teen the depth of love for music in Black People, and the stories our music tells. THANK YOU MIKE, FOR ALL YOU DO TO HONOR OUR PRECIOUS MUSIC HISTORY!!!
@@reelblack LOL.. I started to write about my 8 track, record, cassette, and CD collecting, but I figured I'd wrote enough. But that's how you make us feel, like we're just hanging out with an old friend.
Hey fun stuff man - I didn't realliy know there was a personality behind this channel. Good finds. :) @0:55 Sounds of Liberation 1st LP I have in my want list.. and didn't know there was a wax version till just now.
Hi Mike! Moms Mabley 😂😂😂 Nipsey Russell 😂😂😂 You scored! And good tunes! Glad you had a good time. Hope you and all the Internet People have a wonderful evening/day! Love y'all 🤗🕊😍
I haven't watched Your channel in many months. Is Your channel still de-monetized? If so, its wrong & real lousy _other channels showing old movies with 99% whyt actors/resses are monetized with _*_Advertise mark points on videos_*_ and _*_$Thanks_*_ donations are allowed._ I was just watching _Bill Cosby's__ *To All My Friends on the Shore* & _Vincent Price's -_ *House on Haunted Hill* and noticed that the channel C.ult C.inema C.lassics is monetized. I thought when You announced Your channel got demonetized I thought all channels showing old movies were. Please let Me know where I can donate to You for all You do of showing old Black movies/TV shows.
Thank you for sharing Mike, I am definitely looking forward to hearing them.

Brewerytown Beats is a great store. You can literally spend all day in there with the sheer amount of wax there.
