This beautiful song was recorded in 1977 a year before I was born in 1978. Cynthia Clawson has a beautiful voice and plays the piano beautifully! My maternal grandmother and my maternal aunt by marriage love this song that Cynthia Clawson co-wrote. My mother and I saw Cynthia Clawson in concert in Louisville, Kentucky in 1983 when I was 5. My maternal aunt by marriage gave me both the album and the piano music for a Christmas present. I also own two copies of the CD entitled The Way I Feel! by Cynthia Clawson. This song is the first on the both the album and the CD. My dad is an ordained Disciples of Christ minister, and my mother is a public high school teacher. I am their youngest son and child. I myself earned both my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre and Drama and my master's degree in library and information science specializing in services for children and young adults in the public library from Indiana University located in Bloomington, Indiana. I am head of the children and young adult department in a public library system. I sang the beautiful song The Journey as a solo in the Disciples of Christ Chruch. No one in church had heard the song before I sang it. They all thought it was a beautiful song. Thank you so much for pasting and sharing this beautiful recording. It is one of my favorite songs!

😢 This was the song my father wanted played at his funeral I listen every so often to remember the greatest man I’ve ever known.
