Yes
Do you rinse your tumbler after sanding it before you do the ink?
No
Just wipe down with alcohol
Can you use acrylic paint for the base color?
Yes

Not on the turner. 😊
I followed your steps and the colors and mine came out darker.
I dont use crystal clear. Epoxy is all the sealer you need.
It always fades for me. But, whatever works for you, keep doing it 😊
