@Ahmed M eh, who cares for small talk. What really matters is having a few close friends that you can have real, meaningful conversations and know that you'll have each other's backs.
@Ahmed M school (clubs may help) or maybe online in video games. Takes time, but common interests definitely help.
@Ahmed M idk if I was lucky, but I was still able to find a group of friends that like me for who I am even without talking much probably because I laughed at their jokes, which made them feel better about themselves I guess. Similar sense of humor is a common interest I suppose.
Kelly’s editing skills are SERIOUSLY underrated, been watching him for a while, and each video, I swear it gets better, keep up the great work!

Kelly, unsolicited advice from a recent college grad:
1. Meet as many people as you can
2. work ON campus in a dining hall/bookstore/coffee shop cuz they’ll work around your class schedule and you’ll meet other like minded college peeps to party/hang with
3. Do IMs! (Intramural sports)... better yet do COED IMs (soccer or b-ball) and be the captain. My team was “krusty krew” through my 4th year.
4. If you play an instrument, join a band or the musicians club. Gigging around campus allows you to meet a whole other side of college you wouldn’t normally meet if you didn’t play an instrument. Also house gig college parties were some of my favorite memories...
5. Study abroad EARLY. Junior and senior year are important for interning and whatnot so the school year and summers might get busy... though you in particular might be on a different road to success than most.
6. Don’t worry if you don’t have a car while you live on campus. Public transportation builds character. Even taking a date in a bus somewhere can be fun.
7. Live on campus AT LEAST your first two years. Once you graduate, you’ll never be around this concentrated amount of people YOUR age EVER again.
8. Your last two years live off campus with your bros you’ve made through the years and party party party. Host them. Set up cheesy Facebook event parties. Do themes for Halloween and Christmas. Throw surprise birthday parties for your roomies. Do it all. I didn’t turn 21 until my senior year anyways and it forced me to enjoy my apartment and hosting parties that much more.
9. Skate to get around. Longboarding especially. You’ll look cool and it’s convenient. If you have early classes, gets the day going with a nice ride too.
10. Do not let FOMO take over you. I tried frats but didn’t work for me, and I’m happy they didn’t. I realize now that being in a frat would’ve defined my first few years. By that I mean my friend group, my parties, my experiences. I would attribute it all to that frat. I know some people may have dope experiences. Do what you want brotha. You only go away to UNI once in your life. But whether you join a frat or not, always remember you are KELLY going to ASU... not KELLY from SIGMA CHI going to ASU. Looking back, you’ll be happy you created your own friend circle and random experiences on your own.
11. Try not to fall in love or get a serious girlfriend until your senior year. This will give you time to live selfishly and do what you want when you want. Going away to college is once in a lifetime so make the most of it by not getting tied down by a serious relationship. There’s nothing wrong with it though if you can handle it all.
12. Continuing point #11... DO go on lots of dates! Why? Because chances are you’ll meet their friends too and your social circle will continue to blossom. Just don’t date their friends. lol
13. Don’t get political unless you like that stuff. You might lose friends.
14. Don’t make everyone feel like they’re gonna be in your vlogs. Your vlogs are great and I’m happy to say I enjoy your consistent videos. I just want to make sure people genuinely enjoy hanging out with you and don’t feel pressured to be fake because they might be on camera. I want your college experience to be genuine bro. I’m stoked for you.
15. Lastly... don’t be afraid of anything. Being a student is such a privilege... not to mention going away to school. Try new things. Nows the time. But always make sure to keep Kelly your number 1.

Dude this is solid advice. I wanna study abroad next year but im already in my second year of college over here. Should i continue this one even tho i hate it and the degree wont get me anywhere? Or should I drop out now. Work for a year and then study in the US next year
man i wish i lived on campus. im In my second semster of my first year and i ended up switching all my classes to online so its really lonely
