director guy in the headline mentioned specifically that this "story update" after august is just gonna be another mini episode so this is pure copium. we're probably just going to get hunar as a ruine enemy for the limited time quest that's mentioned.
base p2o story is leagues ahead of ngs, I'm worried if they bring her back they would ruin her character tbh 😭heres hoping if it happens its good and not just another base pso2 clone monster for the 1000th time
I would rather SEGA leave Matoi in the past. And continue to follow the generational concept they have presently. Since we have the Starless that is from the guardian's timeline. And the guardians. There is room to grow for present characters. Matoi didn't really help us on base. We took care of her. Returning her in full capacity will just sideline the MC.
Personally i dont think she should come back because she would either take all the spotlight from Aina's development or just show up, one shot vael and then become useless for the rest of the story. Now, if they make something on the likes of Aina having a fragment of matoi that would be great.
Same honey super looking forward to it, also give base a try sometime, nice story to play through slowly when bored, it really picks up and is good but very long.
I actually hinted a bit to that in the commentary of our chr being the chr and profound darkness too, via persona lol. I could see them doing a twist with that as well. Def going to be exciting seeing how it turns out in the end :D Good catch!
