  • Penang, Malaysia is well-known among foreigners for many things but nothing can beats the amazing coffee, some most mouthwatering foods in Malaysia and beautiful Colonial buildings. After spending a couple days and settling in to this amazing island we decided to see what all the hype was about - one of the main thing to do is to hunt for street art.
With our day starting as it normally does and things not going as planned we started to rely on the locals to guide the rest of the day. With where we would go for lunch and let me tell you, things turned out AMAZING. This is why having little plans or even plans that don’t work sometimes is best thing.

Go hike up Penang Hill or by train (tram). It used to be the residence for the elite British ruling Malaya due to the much cooler temp back then. The 1st strawberry in Malaysia was planted there hence the hillock Strawberry Hill. Go to David Brown's restaurant n tea terrace for western n msian cuisine. it' s a crowd puller. Also to see the stunning view of penang island. Many colonial bungalows can still be found there. The 3rd largest sleeping Buddha in the world can be found at Wat Chaiyamangalaram a siamese temple at Burma Road. Cheers.

The upkeep of these old shops and shop lots is terrible. Malaysia has some of the best skyscrapers in the world but it's disappointing that they let their older buildings just rot. All it takes is a coat of paint and these building would look as new again.

@@mam-ne7if I think the govt should consider stepping in then. No landlord would object to the beautifying of their buildings. The old flats around Jalan Changkat are a terrible eyesore too, and that's an area that is mainly frequented by tourists. Not a great look.

Btw, the round bag is definitely, most certainly from Vietnam. The street merchant in Msia used to source their sourvenier items from Thailand but with the depreciating Ringgit, these vendors now go to Vietnam instead.. Definitely Not Bali as we x buy tht much from Indonesia😜

Yes, Klang used to be the capital of Selangor, and that Klang is located in Selangor near KL. While that Lebuh Klang (Klang Street) in your video is one of the street in George Town Penang. And yep, Lebuh Klang was named after the town of Klang in Selangor.

Extra milk.. for food u can ask for spicy ,without spicy, little spicy, extra spicy,no chili,no vegetable,no meat, like i don't like eat pork,I can say my noodles don't pork, see what other ingredients they have I like to eat just put.if u eat curry noodles u like tofu very much u also can request extra tofu, like that..
