Chances are it has a peerless 700 trans has shift keys that engage trans those shift keys wear out real fast if shifting on the fly. Re gear that unit so you can run 3rd gear on that track, 3rd should be ur 1 to 1 ratio

Hell yeah man. I was working in an exhaust shop, and one guy had us build him a chrome hood stack exhaust for his, then about 4 more people came in to get their own chrome exhaust setup. Did a couple mild cub cadets, and a pretty wild flathead V8 8n ford tractor. Only tractor I've ever put duals, glass packs and chrome tips on....
Those Kohler motors are awesome, I have a 27hp engine on my mower I use for cutting grass and a vanguard on my mower that I rip around on, the front pulley is huge on your mower and a sick belt to chain drive
Super cool, I bought a 16.5hp craftsman for $50, threw a Chinese starter at it after swapping the plastic bendex gear for the metal one. Just need a couple spindles, and I’ll be mowing grass in style.

So for the lawnmower, you need to mok up two twin turbos even though they don’t work still mark them up to make it look like it has to 88 TwinTurbo’s on it and don’t forget to put some Racine flames down the side
Jh, that mower is definitely running out of fuel. We have raced mowers for years and have 15 local and national championships in the last 7 years. It's a whole lot of fun. If it's a new belt, it's either too short or the geometry's all wrong on the clutch pulley. Try and clutch it and hold the brake tight and rev it a bit. That and the gearing is all wrong. I can help you fig it all out. We have some of the most proven and badass chassis in the sport that we designed and build.

Years back, I had a racing lawn mower. I bought off a friend of mine. His dad raced it for a while but had built a new one. This thing was ridiculous. It had completely stock lawnmower steering but would do every bit of 50 mph. It would rip donuts in the grass and would have a foot long flame coming out of the side pipes. It eventually dropped a valve and trashed the motor, and I got rid of it. It's probably a good thing because I was gonna get hurt on it for sure 😅
You see that's why you built that track for!!🎉🎉 You need another 4 or 5 of a similar build to race with all the boys on Newyears eve with the fire ripping 🔥 away in the middle! 4 wheels may be a little safer than two wheels but it does seem to go pretty quick though however not sure how reliable they are compared to the mini bikes 😂😂
That ain't no racing mower in Australia where I am we have lawnmower races and guys put roadbike motors in them some up to 800+ cc 👍🏼👍🏼 dangerous but fun as hell
Fox the clutch and brakes and then have a race with cleetus at the FF track, you can also modify the engine and see what it can do on a 1/8 mile at Bradenton.
You could also swap the motor out and put in a Predator 670cc motor in it from harbor freight. It's basically a V Twin motor making 22 HP. These motors are used on almost all new mowers. The Drawback is is it's $1,000 dollars and you'll probably need to fab up some motor mounts. But the power would be insane. 😎👍

You need the front half of a torque converter from a mini bike on the output shaft of the engine and you won’t burn up belts as fast
