How to semi-seriously use ditto: Equip Choice Scarf, Send out Alcremie, Alcremie uses Decorate, Swap to Ditto, Ditto sweeps.

I prefer to use the counter sweep method. Have a ditto with a choice scarf and the imposter ability. If someone manages to set a sweeping Pokémon that has a bunch of stat boosts, you send out ditto and it will copy everything about the opponent, which includes stat changes. Once you send out Ditto, it will have the speed advantage over your opponent and be able to finish off your opponent. If the opponent has an absolute tank of a sweeper, you should theoretically have the advantage since you would have a healthier copy of the opponent.
You could also take a gamble and choose a different item for Ditto instead of choice scarf, which will mean it’s random for who goes first if the Pokémon have the same speed. This item choice may be preferable in case of the situation that your choice move can be very easily abused by your opponent’s next switch in.

It is rather suspicious that even today, only Mew and Ditto have the move Transform in their learnsets, but apparently the developers debunked this fan theory.

I've got a fic I've been reading that explains how they can afford to heal Pokemon for free. Answer? The Pokecenters double as hotels for trainers who get a slight discount, and they can rent out for either a day or for weeks at a time if they are gonna be in the town for awhile, like for repeated attempts at a badge from the local gym. It's a really good answer and something I'd like to see in game at some point...I know that won't happen but...it's still a cool thing, then in games there's the more recent times the Pokecenter also doubles as the Pokemart so I would guess they split the funds that way.
I also remember Ash and the gang staying at Pokemon centers. I don't know how true that is in more recent times.
@@FelixHelixihare They gotta be having a side job they do to be able to heal Pokemon for free unless the various Leagues pay for them all to do it by funding the centers..but with all that equipment..I can only recall ONE time you had to pay to heal at a center and it was in Team Skull's town with a run down Pokecenter, you had to pay the two grunts using it as a house to heal your Pokemon....and considering how run down Team Skull's town is...yeah..makes sense, cause the whole town is pretty much been left to rot.
I would think the PokeCenters and Marts were under the same management and that is the reason things like potions and lemonade cost so much… to offset the cost of healing that Ratatta you just Ice Beamed to deaaaa… I mean fainting

Fun fact: When I was in elementary school, I had a little Charmander light-up toy and when I pressed the button, his tail would light up.
So any time I was at school and felt worried or sad, I'd always press the button to make me happy again. Because seeing Charmander's tail light up always made me smile. 🙂

I've written a research paper on last year during my junior-year of high school. The teacher assigned us to pick controversial topics to choose a side and write on. I picked "are paranormal activities real?" and I chose to prove they are real. The research paper was so well-constructed that I got a 99% as a grade even though I submitted it in a week late.
In addition, I also applied some concepts from my paper in order to explain why ghost type pokemons have a weight registered in the pokedex one time in a social media post.

How to use Ditto, when they have transform.
What you do is prevent the opponent pokemon from doing stuff, (like with hypnosis or paralyze), and then use that as a bit of a peek at the opponents moves and get a idea of their play style.
I mostly use ditto as a bit of a adapted support early/mid game just to get an idea of the game my opponent is trying to play, or just to set up a small combo or two. On occasion, I'll use them end game as my last or second to last pokemon after weakening the opponents pokemon first because thats usually when the opponent plays their best pokemon and having to face a clone of that is always a bit troublesome. And just as a safety measure I give them leftovers, just cause its reliable.
As for what pokemon to team it up with, I suggest Cofagrigus with the ability mummy. Not only does his ability neutralize the opponents ability, but he's also a good goust type and can be devastating to some psychic and dark types. His ability is a good follow up to ditto most of the time, and if things go south, he can hold his own just fine.

I always figured that ditto bred with another ditto just made more dittos.
I think the microwave one being how only the plate gets hot, but not the food. Though it really depends on what food and how you arrange it.

ditto can't breed for more ditto, which is why they are so valuable for high iv ones. You have to find them in the wild as is, (which is why it was so popular for sos farming in sun/moon) so since ditto can't breed, they probably split into two like you said.

I did actually use Ditto once in a Pokémon Silver run.
It was awful. But also very fun. Something very satisfying about beating an opponent's Pokémon with their own Pokémon.

5:58 normally this writers would have a point but they basically took several other Cartoon Network shows worst aspects used that as foundation and dumbed the cast into husks of their former selves! Very little of its source material actually made it into the show.
The show is a slap stick comedy, it’s not like it’s trying to be serious, accurate, or faithful to the inspiration, it’s just it’s own circus show because the higher ups wanted more nonsensical cartoons that they grew up with. The fact that the writers get to vent about the hate of being off the wall and being not what the fandom wants all they want to is probably their best material imo, because of how true it is.
@@legoben98productions except the big problem with that is when word started getting out about a new teen titans show they could’ve clarified the rumors as soon as possible. So if the writers and higher ups were paying attention they would’ve known it wouldn’t go well. At the end of the day they were complaining about how the show wasn’t wanted from before day one and how everyone involved with the show was so out of touch that it failed to become a hit show!

There is a theory that Ditto are failed attampts of cloning Mew so technically they are a construct of cells which is why it would make sense if they simply split apart and then form another Ditto.

Ghost-Type Pokémon are not the spirit of deceased Pokémon, evidenced by the fact that one can reliably breed a Ghost-Type Pokémon egg that matches the mother's species (most Pokémon of this type also have a 1:1 gender-ratio in the games).
The ghost-typing alludes to their ghost-like abilities and tendency to be or simply look "spoopy", not because they're literally souls wandering the land.

Ditto used to be competitively viable in some cases where you have limited restricted Pokemon like legendaries. You can use ditto to have an additional legendary on your team.

Leon vs Diantha, straight up. At least Alain hasn’t been anywhere up to that point, so there’s not as much of a precedent there. Diantha had a whole ass battle against Lance beforehand that showed a massive strategic prowess, controlling the flow of the fight.
Then Leon crushes her with a Rillaboom, like what? He used that against Alain, surely Diantha could have analyzed and countered it. But no, we have a in-anime translation of how broken Rillaboom is in the games.
