It is SO hard being at ancient pity and not pulling on good banners like this. Holding out for a Chance, yes people remember, chance, at The Pope! People out here acting like you will get a banner character, go in with low expectations people, low low low expectations lol

I'm at 113 with 104 ancient summons and am definitely pulling anora. I really want ymiret to pair with but need to wait for praetus
I also have ghan so don't really need valderon, the urge to go ahead and pull is real

I believe they made Anora for some future content, maybe a boss that tosses out some unremovable debuffs but it won’t stick on her. So I’ll take a for sure new character over a some of the ones that have no uses. Play the pity game when going for her. That’s my opinion but I’m also end game so I guess that’s different for me.
I made up my mind some time ago to skip Anora, I got Dahlia though. I’ve got more than enough summons, 300+, a decent stack of golds as well, but when the news about Lucius came out and bundled with a chance for Boreas, I have zero anti healing, I decided to spunk the lot on the frostborne banner. Paired with Anora being unbuffable, perhaps she’ll be great in the future but GB2 is right now with big rewards. Going for preatus as well, 40 reds, nowhere near pity though. Wish me luck, god knows I need it!
Oh and I really appreciate your hard work Destined, you’re the reason I’ve been able to plan ahead the way I have the past couple months and why I’m in good shape for this weekend. It’s not unnoticed :)

Рeople are skipping a guaranteed good character with magic damage who is completely independent and probably the best of the limited ones in favor of the “casino”. Do you really think that for your 200 spins you will get Boreas or at least two Lucius out of 4 because Lucius needs 3 awakenings? Do you really think that summoning Pretus is better than summoning two good characters ×15? ×15 does not guarantee you this very character, and considering that Pretus is the most desired character in the game and knowing the greed of the developers, even with a guarantee for the lord, it is unlikely that many will get him.

Boreas is better than Anora and Lucius doesn't need awakenings to be game changing in GB2 . Preatus will have the same rates as these two now and Valdi banner is bad because there are only lords on rate up and 2 of them so without a piti you are screwed anyway.
@@darkki94 In what case Boreas is better? She can play any activities as easy as Boreas even if Boreas is a little better its not crucial She without awakening does the same damage as Khamet on 5 . Praetus will have the same rate but he is the single lord on ×15.

Yep skipping the ancient and anora, I have 200 saved and ready to be pulled on boreas banner.
Good luck, I come from raid shadow legends where 15x rates are trash. You could pull 10 legos and not hit one of the rate up champs. Personally I'm going on anora and hoping to pity manipulate and snag a Lucius.

@@Destined_WoR didn't work, I kept getting legos. Guildmates are saying that after pulling Harz, Valkyra, Nocturn, Magda, Ares, Edith(all new) I have no right to moan about not getting lucius.
Also, I think you’ve convinced me to skip anora. She’s nothing special besides the cheeks…and I’d rather dump my 500 summons trying to get ares or deimos because I need a good fighter and or lucius, or boreas because I don’t have him and I honestly think boreas is stronger then anora which that’s the real question
Have you got any info on the regular banner after this? Probably alongside the preatus banner. Just to know if I should go for double pity here or save one pity for the upcoming one. Thanks!

I already have Valderon and Praetus on A0, so that does make it a bit tempting to go for Anora and Ymiret. But the chance I pull Ymiret is slim and the 2x banner combined with 15x on Lucius, Boreas and that other bloke is to darn tasty to skip. I think I have Deimos on A2, do I would not mind pulling him as well, so I can save some soulstones.

thankyou for this, question: are the ancient summons pitty the same as the divine summons? if not what are the differences
Ancient summon pity is same as invocation of spirit at 200 then 5% added to original rate for every summon after 200 but that is for lords on(including both unnamable heroes). Any non lord you pull inbetween those 200 pulls does not reset your pity.
One thing I wish you would include guild wars when reviewing hero’s viability in contents. There are many, many players that want to know which upcoming heroes are S tier for GWs.

Valderon is not meta for gvg, ymiret is unknown until we know more, praetus is OP like i said, jeera will be not good except for bp
Boreas is out of meta rn and need a5 to be viable, lucius will suck, ares will be okay

I skipped Dahlia so I'm going for Anora. She's interesting and I think they'll make her more useful in the future. I already have Boreas and can't say I'm interested in Ares, but I really want Deimos and I'd like to get Lucius. Thankfully I've saved enough to hit both banners.
But watch - after they drain us dry this weekend they'll put out something insane next weekend.

Currently stuck on both gear dungeons stage 5 cuz my gear is meh and I have no elowyn. Do you think anora/ymiret have viability for those? Almost certainly going for Lucius and praetus tho
If you don't have Vierna/Khamed yes but since she can't be buffed she is VERY gear dependent so it will exaggerate the weakness of your gear also having a lego lord will be much more important for her since she can't receive buffs.
This is a really hard choice but I think I'm going for some pity manipulation and Anora. There is a chance that we won't be seeing her banner for a year. I'm pretty sure that they are going to add content where she is going to shine before her next banner
I'll probably be pulling everything I have on the 2x/15x since I'm missing a good leggo marksman (I don't have Silas, Hex or Iovar) but also I won't be mad if I get Ares (since I'm still missing A LOT of good legendary fighters). At the bottom of my wishlist is Boreas. He's nice, but I already have too many mages: Khamet, Dahlia, Vierna, Ajax, Twinfiend... I hope to pull 3 leggos on this banner and at least one from the 15x. 🙏

There's been no info about what regular banner will come alongside Preatus? I'm starting to think they might do a top 5 banner thing and just rerun all of the best banners from the past year.

@Destined_WoR that's why I'm thinking it might be a best of type thing, the files are already there, so it's easy to hide the surprise. Oh, to add to this, maybe that's why we've seen some Lust/arrogance stuff? Could be a hint.
I have a feeling there will also be 3 banners next week / on the anniverary date like this week. First the praetus ANCIENT banner, then will have the LIMITED/GUARANTEED banner will be lust and arrogance and then there will be 15x NORMAL summons banner, either we can choose 3 normal heroes or they picked three most popular hero maybe the elowyn banner. Its impossible that they will not have a better banner on the anniversary date. So hopefully i get early either boreas/lucius on friday then ill stop and save for next week.

Everyone that doesnt have pope thinks hes goku on super steroids, hes aight pre nerfed boreas would bash him up.
Valderon n ardea are actually my top two dps in gb2 30k. 3rd is arrogance even with torodor maybe cuz hes missing lust.
Tough choice... About 220 regular summons saved, BUT I'm endgame f2p. Nearing 50k GB1 and have all 21s cleared. Anora is guaranteed and *could* become a key piece in upcoming content. But getting a good shot at Lucius might be worth it since I don't think I have a single place where I'd actually put Anora to good use currently.
Knowing montoon, they have defently rigged the rates so Ares has higher pull chance then Lucious
Calypso, Init, and Pratus also have summons btw

I have praetus. And I have 78 shards no lego or lords since I pulled Praetus. I have 23 ancients to pull for Praetus or do I save for watcher now lol

but what do you mean by pity swapping?
If you don’t pull any Lego on the guarentee banner you can swap banners to the other rate up around when you hit pity, pop your pity and swap back to the guarentee for the limited hero… basically just helps you get a chance on both banners
Say you are 150 summons away from hitting pity (guaranteed hero at 220 summons). So now you go and pull on anora banner and now you have done 130 summons and still no legendary. Now you are in soft pity for next 20 summons, increasing each pull until you hit the 220 number. So at this point you switch from anora banner to the 2x 15x banner and pull until you hit a legendary in one of those next 20 pulls. Then switch back to anora banner. Hope that makes sense....

idk how any 'free-to-play' players save up 200+ ancients. i feel like they are so rare and the pity is so high for a lord.
Lucius is op.. until they will nerf the rewards to 10 ancient shards instead of 10 ancients,

Dang, i was going to go for anora since i had cyrus, and figured there could be some weird synergies with that, but youre honestly kinda making me think that skipping anora makes sense. Late game content just really isnt going to grow for anora without her ice daddy

Fair but khamet, boreas, demi, vierna can all solo gr 1-21 with no anti heal im pretty sure
Too bad Dahlia can also do it and THE BEST gr1-21 solo DPS aka Boreas is having a rate up at the same time and banner as the Lucius.

Honestly, it is all boring now. Weeks/months of "save for Valderon" none stop, then when the banner finally comes "dont pull on this banner". Guess what, Praetus banner comes and there will be a banner not long after which will have the vibe of we should have saved for that. Yeah, Praetus is good and likely wont be knocked down from his top spot much if at all but the next new thing will have some saying "Skip Praetus". It is predictable and eye roll, and exactly why it is pointless listening to any content creator giving advice on what to pull for.
I get what your saying but theres a reason why after giving my opinion I basically say at the end of the day it doesnt matter just pull for what you want to pull for its just a game
