I'm an Arsenal supporter and I LOVE how Ange handles the media. Most journalists wrap themselves in glory while actually being clickbait merchants. You do not need to have a cozy relationship with them. I like someone who is direct and believes in himself

The reality is that a truly top class manager is not going to be in the Dingo League and Scotland into his late 50's. The guy is not good enough to take the Spuds where they want to go or he'd have had a top job much earlier. Anyone who saw him manage Celtic in the CL and the batterings they took should have known that he wins titles by having the best players on the best team in weak leagues but gets exposed when he's got to make the difference himself against equal or better quality opponents.

Yeah because the transfer fees don't tell near the full story. Levy's strategy is to pay premium for players while giving them shit wages. So obviously good players aren't coming. Spurs wage bill has dropped to 7th in the league - we are spending less now, not more.

I said when he was appointed it was a bizarre appointment. Thing is in his first few months I think we were all so worn down by two defensive managers that the fact he played attacking football we all just gave him a free pass for 6 months. We play the same way every week and teams took about 6-7 months to work it out.

While I do want Spurs to want to win against the London rivals, we saw what happened last year against Chelsea where half the team got injured and ruined our run. Unlike Chelsea, Spurs don't have/want to/ can spend 1 billion dollars on a 40 man squad and still finish lower than Spurs who apparently have a "fraud"

His style of play isn't even good. It's just passing in a horseshoe dominating turgid possession for no reason as it doesn't lead to anything, pass it out wide to inept wingers who just smash the ball low and hard into the box when there's no one there (or when the correct option is the cut-back) because they're incapable of making the right decision or picking out an actual cross. Add to that the fact he floods the midfield with the entire team making it like Piccadilly Circus so there's no space to operate, no one else inverts both fullbacks together, when the opposition bypass that with a long ball out wide it's too easy for them. Plus he pushes his most deadly tool in Son out to the touchline where he's useless, or uses him as a CF where he can't hold the ball up. Everyone knows Son is most deadly as a wide forward (not winger, wide forward i.e. higher up and more in the half space not on the touchline) but Ange won't adapt to the players he's got instead he's adamant in "his way" and quite franky in the premier league "his way" is crap. You can stick to a set formation for sure but make little tweaks, why not let your NATURAL WING BACKS do what they're good at and Overlap and cross snd invert your wingers putting Son (and arguably Johnson too) infront of goal because they're both better finishers than crossers, but no, not Ange.

People talking about how Rory faulted on his stance on Arteta so it must apply to Postecoglou is just silly. So every single time a manager is performing bad, we just use the argument "well arteta did it and they were sh*t at one point, so how could you react to Ange in that way at such an early stage". In that case no manager can be sacked unless we've reached 3 years, they must be immune from criticism. With arteta, there was something unique, good football and cases of playing out the back which hadn't been seen in years for an arsenal team, awful defense and midfield, but there were still moments at the early stage. Unless Postecoglou can show somewhat consistent good performances with the spending he has done (and by consistent i mean 2-3 games in a row) he shouldn't be held to that high of a standard by the end of this season.

If you watched Spurs game you will know we lack 2 things creating/scoring chances & set pieces. I do agree we need a set piece coach badly. Our attack is horrible which is the reason we don't win games. Klopp, Arteta or Pep didn't change their club in 1 season, it takes time to build a successful team. Ange lost Kane, finally got rid of a lot of deadwood & making the squad younger. Ange has done well at Tottenham & let's not forget when we lost Kane everyone said we wouldn't be top 10 at all. All Ange needs is a top LW (Son replacement) & RW, Physical 6, another CAM like Eze unless Kulu can improve then a good defensive LB & RB cover. Trust the process & believe in the project.
