Muhammad Al-Hussaini - Ar Éirinn Ní Neósainn Cé Hí

(Twitter: @MYAlHussaini) A sean-nós song in the Aislinn poetic tradition of the late 17th and 18th centuries, which personifies Ireland in the female dream-like figure of a spéirbhean. It is performed by Muhammad Al-Hussaini, with Joshua Geffin, Daniel Gilroy and Kit Massey, and was first taught to me as a fiddle air by my brilliant teacher, Karen Ryan. This song is dedicated with love to my mate Harvey and family.
