I was in construction for 40 years and know a great team when I see one. It looks easy to an amateur but it’s really a well organized dance. Your customers don’t know the professionals that have! Well Done.
Tom, I'm glad Mike Morgan talked you into producing RUclips videos of your business. At first I didn't think much of it but I had no idea of the progress that has been made in finishing concrete. I never knew all the different finishes that could be done with concrete. I also think this will lead to more business for you as people learn of the things they can do with concrete. You do great work and provide a product second to none!
Y'all do good work. I'm retired from the construction industry, had literally thousands of concrete contractors, this is some of the best work I've saw!
That was a big driveway, but you and your guys made it look easy and I think that is because your team works so well together and i know that is hard work, but you have a great team of pros.
Looks very nice. You and your men really work the concrete very efficiently. The few times I have been involved with pouring a garage or basement it seemed like we were pulling half a truck load.
have you guys considered embedding weatherproof LED between the joints for a soft glow in the driveway and steps? I make these systems in Cal and not sure if Ohio and Penn has clients that want that type of system.
@@Concretewiththehauses never heard of sending back concrete. Did my garage figgered 16 yards came up short by 1wheel barrow, threw in 2b gravel to stretch it !
I’m not saying that he shouldn’t work i’m saying put a guy on each end of the straight edge outside the forms with two guys raking your place the concrete and half the time your flatness numbers will be much better
Good morning Tom! I have a friend that is having his driveway poured this week. They put some kinda fiber in the concrete for strength. How long does that take to fully cure and when is he supposed to seal the driveway?
We use a 3 in 1 sealer called SRT. It is for new concrete only (30 days or newer). It helps with the curing. Any concrete that’s older than 30 days, we use MasterProtect H400
@@jmconcretecoloradosprings Thank you for the information. His concrete guy told him the same thing, but that sounds a bit to long. If he has 3 people telling him the same thing, then it must be true! Thank you again for your input! Gunpowder and Freedom thanks for your input as well!

That's why Tom's business does quality work. A boss that stands around while your crew works will never gain the respect of the boss and therefore will have attitudes no matter how much you pay them. Concrete is the only one who is not a team player.

First RUclipsr I’ve seen that puts actual rebar.

I like the pattern on this sidewalk it likes really good
I noticed towards the end of the second driveway pour, people were underneath the boom many times… I remember you saying never go underneath.. 😀
That was a big driveway, but you and your guys made it look easy and I think that is because your team works so well together and i know that is hard work, but you have a great team of pros.
beautiful work. The stamped sidewalk adds a nice contrast to the brushed drive. Nice country out there shown on the last drone shots.

Really like that slate look. Great job.
Great looking job. Love the look of the sidewalks.
Great vid ! Like the drone shots
Great vid and drone footage. The pore quality adds greatly to the home. Be safe and be careful.
Beautiful work. Pride in your work shows off.,
Absolutely Beautiful. Whoa!!!
That slate look is really nice
The driveway and sidewalk you did really compliments the beautiful house.
Huge pour and great looking work brother. Love the videos!
What a finish 😄. High standard
Great work as usual. Thanks.
Very nice video I like it a lot.
Great Video - Nice job!
Great video would like to see some video of form setup.
Nice work.
Is this filmed in the Beverly Hills of PA?
I thought you were calling one of your guys a meat ball,,, Haha
Tom, Im sure your customers, and viewers would appreciate some protection on adjacent surfaces, especially glass and expensive siding. Just a thought.

Do you have a website we could check these out on?
That would look awesome!!
Well done, i just can't get into walking on the fresh concrete with socks or bare feet ..That's just me!
TOM, do you ever come up 'short' on a pour ! If so, then what?!! Lol
Hi John! When we are doing decorative it doesn’t happen often. We always order more because it is cheaper to send it back.

Did I see several men walking under the delivery chute?
👍😎👍

4" inch thick concrete cures in 28 days. You can Seal it at that point. I usually wait 5 weeks to be safe. Technically concrete never stops curing.

@@GunpowderandFreedom I'm gonna look into those. I usually recommend TROJAN CONCRETE AND MASONRY

Tom , with the catch basin you installed is there a grate that goes on top edge
What happened to the sound???
The old timers had another term for those " Meatballs" I wont repeat it and I never approved of that term but that was a long time ago.
Just like putting icing on a cake YALL STAY COOL
What causes a meatball?
Usually wet material as it goes into the truck.
There are six guys on the crew And you’re pulling the straight edge yourself I don’t get it you’re killing yourself
Hi Stanley, this is my opinion only....when a boss works hard most times his/her team wants to also. 😁

The apathetic gram directly extend because measure noteworthily influence underneath a comfortable cabinet. smoggy, fast teacher
Steven don't go under the chute ..lol
I know we are all guilty of that a little bit. We really shouldn’t do that.
